Chapter 29- Secrets and Lies

I walked to D.A.D.A. with Luna and we sat down at a desk near the Hufflepuffs. Our new professor; who I recognised as Mad-Eye Moody was walking around the room, looking at everyone through his 'eye'. His eyes landed on me and he studied me fascinated and from the looks of it; he could see my vampire half under my 'glamour'. I stared back at him and he kept staring at me, so I played with his head and levitated the drink our of his pocket. I opened it and smelled something familiar; it definitely wasn't rum or any alcohol. It was some potion. I shook it away and took a small sample in a flask, placed it in my pocket and returned the drink back into his pocket, without him realising. I sighed and glared at him.
"Hello, Sir. Can I help you with anything?" I spoke. He shook his head and moved on to class, a smile erupting on his face.
"Good morning class, do not ask why I'm here, I didn't want to be here, so if you don't like it, get out of here!" He mumbled.
"The Ministry believes that the three unforgivable curses are Illegal to be taught, but I believe that you gotta know what your up against, but that's for fourth years, so we are going to study vampires.." He glanced at me and I grimaced "... And how to prevent them from biting you and making you one of them, I believe that one of the students in your year is indeed a vampire, but I cannot say who, exactly." Everyone but Luna and I mumbled to themselves in fear. "But, I believe this particular vampire would rather keep the secret to themselves and not harm anyone,... But if Sh... It" he spoke and I shook my head. "... Would to hurt you, you can perform a spell to get rid of them. Can anyone tell me a spell that they might think would work?" He asked. A girl named Darcie from Hufflepuff raised her hand. His eye landed on her.
"Yes, miss..."
"Reaella. I believe the confudus charm will work."
"Good, good. Constant Viligance! I see."
I sighed loudly as everyone looked.
"Who cares if there is a vampire here! Professor Lupin, our D.A.D.A teacher last year was a werewolf and he was talented and instructive, regardless of what he was" I spoke.
"WHY... YOU LITTLE..." he spoke, throwing a piece of chalk at me, but I caught it and placed it on my desk. He growled and took out his wand. Crucio. He spoke and immediately I took out my wand. Finite Incantatem. I yelled and blocked the jinx. He stopped and grimaced. I looked around the classroom and saw that everyone was watching us, but looked back a the teacher. I stood up and walked up to the front, with the piece of chalk and wrote on the blackboard.
Finite Incantatem.  I wrote in the board, next to Mad-Eye's name.
"Finite Incantatem. Blocks any spell. " I pointed out and walked back to my seat.
"Pesky little twat." He mumbled. I stood up and slapped my hands on my desk. I looked at his eyes and spoke to his mind. You shut your mouth or I'll tell everyone that your using polyjuice potion, especially Dumbledore.

He stared at me and grimaced, putting his wand away and looking at the class.
"Class dismissed." He spoke and we walked away. Luna glanced at me.
"What will everyone think now, Casey?" Luna asked, shocked. I smiled, but frowned.
"I had to, I'm sorry Luna, but I used my mind control to not get suspicious" I spoke, almost to tears.
"I'm sorry." I whispered. Luna smiled and hugged me.
"No need to worry!" She whispered and we headed up the stairs to Divination, which made me soo happy. I undid the ladder to the classroom and climbed up, Luna behind me. Trelawney stood at the top and looked at me, with her googly eyes through her glasses.
"I've seen that you found out something? A year older. Last time growing up." She spoke and I nodded. She hugged me and tapped me on the shoulder.
"Sit near the fireplace, your looking a bit pale... Pleasure Luna. Good to see you. Don't forget that we have astronomy 3:00am tomorrow at the astronomy tower, Cassentina-Rose." She spoke and I nodded. She glanced at me and nodded.
"Can I call you Cassentina? I love the name" She spoke. I nodded, smiling and she closed the ladder, walking with us towards the fireplace. We sat next to Ginny as Trelawney walked over to her crystal ball and stood behind it.
"Welcome back to divination! I need a volunteer to see their prophecy." She searched the room and her eyes laid on me. "Cassentina-Rose, you have a prophecy! Want to join me?" She asked. I stood up and saw that everyone was mumbling about my real name. I walked up to the crystal ball.
"Now I want you to place your hands on either side I held both the sides, like holding a round hamburger. "Yes, good" she answered. "Now close your eyes and clear your mind of emotion, as if putting it inside the ball, create your prophecy" she spoke. I nodded and imagined letting all my emotions of sadness and fear leave my body and into the ball. "Yes, yes!" She spoke as the crystal ball fogged up and created images and words echoed around the room, but only Trelawney and I could hear them.
Born under the blood moon, changed at birth. Borne into the darkest ways. Changed by the Dark Heir in which can take her position. One individual can live, your paths will cross as you reach out the Darkness add crate the dark army midst under the werewolves full moon. The Dark Lord's return creates a path for you to follow, breathing in the dark light and essence of immortality at 15.

Tears leaked out if my eyes and I ran away and down the stairs, feeling the classes' eyes watching my every step. Luna stood there, awestruck and looked at me, with sadness. I climbed down the ladder and ran up the stairs to the astronomy tower. I leaned against the verandah, looking over the black lake, the cold wind blowing in my face. I closed my eyes and saw that a Phoenix was flying towards me. It landed on the railing and I gently patted it on its head. I headed down to meet Luna as she walked to Care of Magical creatures and sadly I couldn't spot her. I spotted Draco though, he was walking to what I suggested was DADA so I walked towards him and he stopped and said hello to me.
"Good to see you, Casey. How is it going?" He spoke. I smiled.
"A lot has been found out. I found a letter from my mother"
"How is she going?"
"She died when I was nine" I answered. He looked at me, shocked.
"I'm soo sorry."
"It's alright. Besides, she told me my real name" I looked at him. "It's Cassentina-Rose"
"That's a beautiful name. Can I call you Tina?"
"Sure" I spoke. He smiled.
"Where are you heading off to after lunch?" He asked.
"Oh" I spoke, looking at my timetable. "I'm heading to astronomy, I'm suggesting you're going to Defence Against the Dark Arts? I had it first today, Mad-Eye attempted to throw a piece of chalk at me and send the cruciatus spell on me, but I blocked both of them. Let's hope he's not too excited to see the chosen one as you said of the other teachers."
He nodded and looked at me with a weird look.
"What?" I spoke. He pointed to my forehead and I touched it, feeling the drips of more red liquid on my face. I gasped and smelt the red liquid; it was human blood.
