Chapter 68- The order meeting

I was excited for Christmas and spent all day in the spirit of it. But that evening I accepted the offer to share Christmas with the order. I dressed in my midnight blue dress with roses (see above) decorated onto it in white. I fished off with my rose accessories and fastened my lapis lazuli necklace so it'd sit nicely on my neck. I brushed my hair and placed my rose clip onto the side, chucking on some matching shoes.

I ran down the steps once I heard a knock on the door and hugged father and Luna goodbye as I opened the door and disaparated with Alastor Moody.

I felt the ground beneath my feet and walked with Moody to 13 Grimeald Place, avoiding the mumbling of the portraits beside me.
"You are very strange for the Head Vampire, you know. You don't go around creating armies and killing people. You are quiet"
He spoke. I smiled.
"Is that what you want me to be like" I spat. "Changing everyone I see and murdering others, ordering my changelings to drink a whole town clean?" I spoke, smiling. He glanced at me blankly with a little confusion in his eyes and grunted, walking with his staff down the hallway.
"May I ask, what's it like? From your perspective?" He asked.
"Well, personally being a vampire you'd always have the craving for human blood. You see, we can't live without drinking and when we do, we'd feel strong and powerful. Most powerful with blood of the humans. But being the head vampire is harder. It's harder to avoid cravings and you're really powerful. Like really powerful. You have more power than any of the other vampires and you don't sleep and when there are times when a vampire is killed, I can feel their pain, hear their woes and sorrows all the time" I spoke, trailing out. "Like Herry Gleenlaske. He is one of many who yearned to join you-know-who. I won't stop the, as it is our instincts to prey, fight and kill for human blood. Currently, you-know-who is looking for a weapon that is located in the ministry. I suggest the Hall of Prophecies. Professor Trelawney told me about it. She said that only a few people know it and you-know-who has been looking for it for as long as Harry's life. I suggest a trap. Especially after the snake incident. He needs to learn Occumency. He needs to block his mind from you-know-who" I spoke. He nodded and walked inside the room. I felt hands clasp around my back and I turned around, spotting Ginny, Harry, Hermione, Ron and the Weasley twins.
"Hello" I spoke, smiling.
"Thanks for the presents" Ginny spoke. I nodded.
"My pleasure" I answered and turned around.
"Why does she get to go?" Fred growled.
"She's younger than us and you have to be 18 to join" George spoke. I smiled.
"Things aren't what they seem." I spoke and walked inside, closing the door behind me.

"Thank you for the jacket you sent Luna and I, Mrs Weasley" I spoke as the meeting ended. She smiled.
"My pleasure" she spoke, giving me a warm smile and a big bear hug. She let go a couple of minutes later and smiled.
"I'd hope to see you back on the platform. Say a merry Christmas to Xenophilius for me." She spoke as she left. I walked out the hallway, but stopped as I felt a hand push me into a room. I rolled my eyes.
"Harry, seriously! If you're demanding answers about the Malfoys and you-know-who I won't answer you" I spoke.
He looked at me, shocked.
"How did you know?"
"Are you kidding me? You're screaming it in your head!" I spoke. He nodded and I smiled at him.
"Gotta study for those exams coming up. Umbridge doesn't know what surprises she's going to receive" I spoke and walked out the door, meeting up with Moody once more, disaparating back to my doorstep.
"Thank you, Alastor" I spoke and walked inside, greeted by Luna.
"You look like you just saw a gnarlauf." She spoke. I smiled.
"Yea. A blue spotted one with wings" I answered and she handed me a cup full of blood.
"You look like you're about to pass out. I bet you'll be needing this" she spoke. I smiled and placed the cup to my lips and drank the contents immediately but once I finished, I dropped the cup on the floor in shock.
"Where did you get this?" I asked. She looked at the cup.
"It was a present from Madam Pomfrey" she answered.
"Can I see the letter" I spoke. She nodded and walked into the kitchen.

My head was fuzzing and I could feel the unlimited strength and power of the blood. I crouched into a ball and closed my eyes, shaking, trying to think straight. I could sense my body changing. My darkness coming to the light. My skin turning paler and my hair becoming darker. I felt Luna's presence and she walked over, handing me the letter. I grabbed it and took out my wand.
"Revealio" I spoke and the letters changed to a whole new letter.

Dearest Cassentina-Rose Lovegood,
It was easy to find Poppy Pomfrey as she went to Hogsmeade gathering supplies from a local shop. I offered some of my friends to capture her and bring her to me. She told us everything about you and your... heritage. It was soo kind of her to spit it out. But she also told me once you drink these contents, your inner darkness will come into the light. I'd hope to see you around.

I gasped and dropped the letter onto the ground and screamed.
