A few weeks after the Triwizard champions were selected, the first task began. I walked with Hermione and Neville to the arena where it was held and sat down on the top stands. Soon enough, Luna joined me with Ginny. I looked over, spotting Ron with Seamus and Dean.
"What happened with Ron and Harry?" I asked Hermione. She shook her head.
"Ron thinks that Harry did put his name in the goblet"
"... But he didn't, he was horrified." I interrupted
"How do you....."
"... I mean, I could see it in his face. But attention seeking is something he needs to work on!" I answered. Hermione put her hands on her hips.
"He is not an attention seeker!" She spoke, angrily. I smiled and nodded intriguingly. She glanced at Luna and she shrugged. Ginny laughed.
"Why aren't you in Slytherin? You're a true cunning and daring person!"
I looked down.
"I'd rather not talk about it, it's really personal!" I mumbled. Luna looked down as well.
"It was our grandmother, she was one of the most evil person in the world. She knew you-know-who. She was one of his...."
Luna spoke.
"... Friends and one of the most trusted of the death eaters" I answered. Hermione and Ginny gasped.
"But she's dead now, right?" Neville spoke. I nodded. "So it's ok then"
"But I will be exactly like her! And it's worse that she's dead!" I spoke, letting tears fall. Luna hugged me.
"Don't worry Cass. I know that you will follow in your own footsteps. You are of crossroads" she spoke. I smiled and wiped my eyes.
"I'm sure your mother will always be there for you." Hermione spoke. Luna and I's eyes widened. Ginny gasped. Hermione looked at us, confused.
"Did I say something?" She spoke, confusion in her voice.
"My mother, Pandora died when we were nine" I spoke, clear but foggy from the crying. "It was rather horrible. She loved to experiment, like she invented the Wingardiom Leviosa charm. But once I was born, she tried to cure me with everything, but one of her spells went horribly wrong. She collapsed in front of Luna and I." I spoke, letting a single tear fall. Hermione touched my shoulder in reassurance, but let go immediately.
"You're ice cold!" She spoke. I nodded.
"All apart of my condition" I spoke. She nodded and we looked out at the arena where there were 4 sections with dragons in each. Hermione walked off and went over to the champion tents. I stayed by Luna's side and helped myself to a mint lollie from Hogsmeade as the cannon went off and Cedric Diggory walked out. He faced a dragon in which I don't recognise and took out his wand almost immediately, transfiguring a rock into a dog to distract the dragon while he lunged for the egg. I gasped and excused myself, heading away from the arena. I sat behind the high seats stand against a tree on the edge of the forest and took out my transfiguration book, reading. I didn't realise I fell asleep until I woke up, sweating. The vision was horrible. I was walking down the corridor, listening to the screams of the students as the war was going around. I felt my hand clasp around Dezman Crescent his red eyes looked at me with a smile. Forever in your vow my queen. He spoke. I smiled and locked eyes with him, smiling. Forever my faithful servant. I spoke.
I was shaking with fear and written down my vision in my dream journal Trelawney told me to write and breathed heavily. Dezman was a vampire and I was the queen. How did I not realise the connection? I thought and closed my eyes, breathing in and out calmingly. I sensed another presence next to me and I hugged whoever it was close. I felt a cold presence and the connection was stronger than before.
"Dezman" I spoke, opening my eyes. He placed his fingers to his mouth.
"Be calm, my queen" he spoke. I nodded, knowing that I felt shocked af but knew he wouldn't hurt me. I rested my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes once more. I felt safe with him. I felt powerful but protected in his arms. I opened my mouth to speak but he placed his fingers to my lips.
"Rest, my queen" he ushered. "The temptation is strong, but you're not there. You're here." He spoke, calmingly, making me feel fluttery inside as he spoke about how he came to be.

"I was a general lad, 3 years ago. I was in my fifth year of Durmstrang and I had many friends and enjoyed combat. No one would mess with me. I was strong with words and stood for what's right. Evil shall be conquered. But I also made many enemies, especially the vampires. I'd called myself a vampire hunter, killing all vampires I came across when I travelled, but on a journey south of Ireland, I came in the clutches of your grandmother and got tortured with cursed iron swords. They made the decision to torture me even more, so one night when I was sleeping in my cell, I was awoken by one of the prison guards and dragged me to the underground chambers where they locked me in a dark, lightless room. I remember sitting there and feeling soo scared as my wand was taken from me and all my weapons were burned. My battle instincts kicked in as I sensed another sole in the room. It was a she, about my age. But I felt she was much older than she looked. She looked at me and with her ability to trance others, she changed me into one of her own, leaving me in the dark room to my eternal pain until my body healed and I became a vampire. I didn't care about my family, my friends, anything. All I wanted desperately was blood...."

Please tell me what you think! I was thinking of making Dezman's backstory and Cassentina-Rose growing close to him until she finds out that he wants her as she is his queen or in other words the leader. Simone
