I stayed up all night, reading my Divination Symbols book as well as my old schoolbooks in the attic. They really interested me, but I glanced at the book Cures for Curses and vampires weren't there, meaning there was no potion that will stop blood addictions, but werewolves could take wolfsbane potion and prevent them from attacking. I closed the book and walked back down to my room, spotting Griensē, our family's owl glaring at me on its perch in my room, holding two letters from the Weasley's and Draco. I patted him gently on his back and took off the letters, opening the Weasley's first;

Dear Casey,
We are all well, just a bit shocked from the fires, but all in one piece. Thank you for the lovely letter, it's nice that Ginny has kind-hearted friends like you. But all is well, the Irish finally won the tournament and we're cheering and celebrating, getting into the spirit. Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday! I must send you and your sister gift on that day on our owl Ernold.
Kind Regards,
See you at Higwarts,
The Weasleys, Harry Potter and Hermione Granger.

I smiled and two other owls holding a gift box each. I took it off the first owl, that looked poorly old and opened it to reveal a blue sweater with a red rose and a couple packets of everlasting mints. There was another box that had Luna's name on it, so I placed it on my bed beside me and opened Draco's letter.

Dear Casey,
It's all well here, I didn't stay too long after the match, so I went home straight away before the disaster with the Death Eater's struck, so I'm fine. It's nice to hear from you again. Hope you had a good Christmas and see you at Hogwarts for your third year and my fourth year.
I hope you like my present,
Draco Malfoy.

I smiled and folded the letter, placing it on top of the sweater and grabbed the box attached to this marvellous black owl. I unwrapped the perfect wrapping and there was a small light green gift box with a bow. I smiled eagerly and unravelled the ribbon and opened it to reveal a decorative broach with a strong blue eagle, a green snake and a red rose. It was beatific and I placed it back into it's box on top of my other presents. I took out a piece of paper and replied back to both of them, th asking them for their presents and sending them off with their owls. I handed Griensē a treat and patted her neck. She closed her eyes and hooted cheerfully. I looked out the window and saw the sun rising over the hill, it's Ray's creeping over the grass, reflecting all my sun catchers and crystals, creating rainbows across the room. Luna squirmed in her bed and I looked over, she smiled and looked at me. I handed her the present from the Weasleys and she opened it eagerly, revealing a light blue sweater with an eagle. She gasped at its beauty and placed it next to her, going back in the box and picking up a fruit cake. She smiled and walked downstairs with me to the kitchen and placed it in the cupboard. She raced me upstairs, sadly she won and jumped excitedly in her bed, teasing about her achievement. I rolled my eyes and opened the packet of everlasting mints, giving one to Luna and placing one in my mouth. An explosion of minty goodness burst inside my mouth and I smiled as I chewed and chewed and chewed. These were really everlasting. I glanced at Luna and clicked my fingers as I remembered where u his her present. I ushered her to close her eyes as I went to the bottom of my closet and took out a friendship bracelet with the Ravenclaw symbol as the charm. It was halved and it divided into two different bracelets and I placed it on her wrist and she opened her eyes. She gasped and looked at it amazed. She glanced at mine, matching her missing half. I smiled.
"Do you like it? I made it so it'll glow when we're near each other!"
Her eyes widened as it glowed bright blue and she glanced at me, taking out a box from her closet and handing it to me. I smiled and opened it to reveal a book about crystal magic and tarot cards, containing a set of cards and the 7 charkha stones. I grinned ear to ear and hugged her in delight. She hugged back the same! It was a great start to a fun day!

I looked through my closet and grabbed a green singlet top and a pair of black shorts, with my rose printed muggle converses. I attached my broach to my shirt and played with my bracelet Draco gave me in my right hand. On my left wrist was my triple heart charm bracelet and my friendship bracelet. On my neck was my lapis lazuli necklace with a red rose charm and a pair of Beetroot earrings from Luna to end my outfit. I glared in the mirror and tied my hair in a messy bun. I looked at my reflection and spotted my vampire bite for the first time on my left side of my neck. I felt it and undid my hair, plaiting it to the side, covering it up with my hair. I walked downstairs and packed away my presents, looking for a hair clip of some sort to finishing touch, grabbing the one from Cho and headed downstairs and spotted Cho reading as I walked with her to the dining hall.

What do you think? I have lots of ideas for the next chapter and I'll try to keep to the storyline, but I'm adding a couple of new things, like knowing Ron, Ginny and Draco, and Hermione and Harry heard of me from them. Spoiler Alert(Draco Does Not Fall in love with Casey). Please vote and comment! Simone
