I woke up and adjusted to the light and sat up, checking my calendar. September 1st 1994. I checked the time on the family clock and saw that it was 9:30am. I smiled. 2 hours. I thought. I took my sheets off and woke Luna up from a deep slumber. She opened her eyes and yawned, glancing at me. I raised my eyebrows.
"Good morning Casey" she yawned and ripped off her blankets. See looked at the clock and rubbed her eyes, stretching her arms up.
"We still got two hours, plus one for the arrival. What's the wake up? I was dreaming about riding a crumpled horned snorshack"
I giggled. "Well keep dreaming!"
She looked at me and frowned. "You don't believe in a crumple horned snorshack? You will pay!" She spoke and grabbed her pillow, attacking me with it. I smiled and grabbed another pillow from her bed and pegged it at her. Feathers and fluff from the pillow burst everywhere. We laughed and took out our wands. "Oculus Repario" we spoke and pointed out wands at the pillows and they went back to their original state. We tucked our wands back behind our ears and glared at each other, laughing. I stopped laughing after a few minutes and opened my closet, grabbing out a blank black teeshirt and light green pants. I closed the cupboard and walked over to my desk, grabbing my pair of beetroot earrings and placing on my two favourite bracelets as well as my rose hair clip, clipping into a high bun. I smiled at my reflection and looked at my necklace. It looked out of place, but I couldn't take it off, so I kept it on and tucked it under my teeshirt. I nodded and grabbed my suitcase from underneath my bed, placing it on my bedspread and looked at Luna, who was sitting in her bed, giggling. I looked at her blankly.
"What?"
She glanced at me.
"You just are soo ordered! I always thought it was wrackspirts, but I was wrong! You have OCD! And you are a typical perfect person!"
"I have OCD? Really?"
"Yes"
I smiled and walked to my closet, grabbing my uniform and my books off my table, placing it in my bag along with my potions ingredients, gloves, earmuffs, cauldron and telescope. I closed it and zipped it tight, walking it over to the bedroom door. I looked over and Luna was just starting to pack, deciding what cloths to bring. I giggled and grabbed my satchel hanging off the door handle, placing my astronomy book and Unfogging the future inside it to read in the train. I placed in my school robes in as well, making sure I get changed in the train. I placed it back on the handle and waited for Luna to finish, heading outside.
. . .
It was pouring down with rain when we arrived at the platform. Luna and I were soaked once we sat down at an empty compartment and Luna clutched to her jacket to warm her up. I sat there and felt no cold at all, I was already too cold. I opened my hand and focused all my power on my heat, pushing it towards Luna. I felt the usual coldness and saw that Luna was wakes up and dried. It actually worked! I thought and smiled at her. She smiled back and looked at me, emotionless. I touched my face. I was ice cold. I looked at my reflection in the glass and saw that I was as white as a ghost. I gasped and closed my eyes, thinking of the warm fireplace and the sunshine. I leaned against the warm glass and felt the sun's rays coming through the glass, kissing my skin. I closed my eyes and smiled. I opened my eyes a few minutes later and saw that Luna went back to the Quibbler. I smiled and grabbed my robes and tapped her on the shoulder, signalling that I'm going to get changed. She nodded and pointed at her cheeks, signalling that I was all clear. I smiled and walked down the train in to the changing rooms. I closed a small door and took off my pink dress and sandals, putting on my Ravenclaw uniform and black leather shoes. I quickly brushed my long hair and pulled it to the back. I grabbed my rose clip out of my bag and clipped it into my hair and untangled my necklace from my hair and placed it on top of my shirt. I smiled at my reflection and placed my stuff back into my satchel, heading back down the platform, bumping into Draco. I smiled.
"Hello, Draco" I spoke dreamily. He smiled and walked away, I glanced at him, confused and turned back around, heading to the compartment and sat down opposite Luna, who had beat me to getting changed as she did a clothes switching spell. I smiled.
"Beat me to it, didn't you?" I spoke. She smiled.
"I can't believe it worked!" She answered. I smiled and the train came to halt. Thunder was rumbling above us and outside was pitch dark. We walked outside and the rain was now coming down so thick and fast that it was though buckets of ice-cold water were being emptied repeatedly over our heads. I took out my wand from behind my ear and spoke, Lumos. And the wand tip lit up. I looked over at Luna, who did the same and we followed the students holding their lit wands, following them along the dark platform. A hundred carriages with thestrals (people call them horseless carriages if they can't see them) stood waiting for them outside the station. Luna and I joined Ginny and her friend in a carriage and the door shut with a snap, and a few moments later, with a great lurch, the long procession of carriages was rumbling and splashing its way up the track towards the Hogwarts castle.
