Chapter 32- Quidditch Tryouts and Classes

I watched as the sun rose over the trees and placed my book back on the bookshelf where I spotted Luna yawning as she walked outside the girl's dorms. Her eyes landed on me and she smiled.
"Your up early?" She spoke. I nodded.
"Don't think I really had a chance to sleep" I answered. She nodded.
"And you don't look tired, do you?" She spoke. I nodded again. I looked outside.
"Do you want to walk with me to the hospital wing to see Madam Pomfrey?" I asked. She nodded and we crept back upstairs and got changed into warm clothes, creeping back down the stairs and out the door, to the hospital wing.
"I have Quidditch practice in an hour" I spoke, looking at Luna. She smiled.
"Yes! Your soo lucky! But I bet father would be more excited if they elect you onto their team" she answered. I nodded and opened the door to see Madam Pomfrey. She smiled at us and handed me a pre-ready cup. I smiled and drank it slowly. Luna smiled and looked at Pomfrey, chatting excitedly.
"Did you know Cho Chang elected her to play Keeper for the Ravenclaw Quidditch team?"
"No, really? When does she start playing?"
"In about 1 hour" she answered. I drank my cup quickly and washed it out, grabbing a tissue and wiping away the blood on my lips. I waved goodbye, as did Luna to Madam Pomfrey and headed back up the stairs, waking up the eagle-knocker. It shook it's head and looked at us.
"Hello again Lovegood's! What brings you up this early in the morning?"
I smiled.
"Went to see Madam Pomfrey and coming back now to try out for the Quidditch team." I answered. It nodded.
"Tell me this fruit. Take away my first letter and it is a crime, take away my first two letters and I am an animal. Take away my first and last letter and I am a type of music. What am I?"
I looked at Luna and thought to myself. I've heard this somewhere before! But where? Luna smiled to herself.
"It's a grape, isn't it? Crime is rape, animal is ape and music is rap." She spoke dreamily. It nodded and let us inside. A couple of kids were waking up and I walked up the stairs to the girl's dorms and into our dorm room, spotting Cho as she handed me my keeper outfit.
"Thank you" I spoke and took off my jumper, placing on the jacket with shoulder pads and pants with knee pads as well as my gloves and boots. Luna placed on my helmet and gave me a thumbs up, as did Cho as she changed into her outfit and I waved goodbye to Luna, heading down the stairs, grabbing Cho's extra nimbus2001 from the broom cupboard and walking to the Quidditch field.

Once everyone arrived, I looked up at the stands and spotted Luna, Padma and Parvati, cheering me on as I went up on my broom. Luckily, it wasn't my first time in one, so I flew up off the ground and in front of the goal posts. Cho smiled and started throwing around the quaffle to the other team members. Soon enough, it came towards my direction. Adrenaline rushed through my veins and I pushed it away, blocking it from the goal.

Soon, after the practice ended, I smiled to myself and I spotted Luna cheering loudly. I'd only missed 2 Goals out of 30 shoots and I was pretty proud of myself. I lowered my broom to the ground and stepped off it, holding it in my left hand and walking over to the rest of the team who were huddling together, deciding whether I should join the team. They let go and faced my direction, smiling. I looked at Cho and she walked up to me, tapping me on the shoulder.
"You made the team!" She spoke cheerfully. I smiled and hugged her excitedly screaming in delight and shook hands with the other team members. I walked back with Cho and Luna to the broom cupboard, excitedly.
"You can keep it if you want" Cho spoke, pointing to my broom. "I don't need it. And congratulations for the spot on the team, I'm sure you'd be the best player. Our awesome keeper. It's a shame we're not playing the cup this year though. You'd be great!" She spoke as we walked into the broom cupboard and placed down our brooms and walked out, heading to the common room to get changed.

I ducked out of my dorm to the girl's bathroom and took my hairbrush out of my bag and started brushing my hair. I looked around and saw that it was completely empty and I heard a drip drop of a leaking shower in the distance. I shuddered and looked at my reflection in the mirror. My eyes weren't red, even though I barely slept and my skin had a tint of pink from being out on the Quidditch field. I smiled and braided my hair to the back and rinsed my face with cold water. I lifted up my left sleeve to see if it had already happened, but luckily, it hadn't and I pulled the sleeve back down, smile ding at my reflection and applied a clear lip-gloss. I placed my brush and gloss back into my bag and walked back to my dorm, grabbing my potion book, vials of ingredients, standard book of spells volume 3, Unfogging the Future and Intermediate Transfiguration. I placed them into my bag, with my wand, a copy of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and my dream journal for my Divination homework. I heard a little croak in the corner of my bed and spotted Mystic my illuminating green frog with the ability to change colour. I smiled and picked her up, placing my wand behind my ear and headed down to the common room where I spotted Luna and ran down to her.
"Hey" she spoke to me with a smile and looked down at my hands and saw Mystic. "Look who hopped in! Hello Mystic" she spoke and patted her head gently. It croaked and closed it's eyes, changing to a pink. Luna jumped and smiled.
"That's a keeper!" She spoke and we walked up the stairs, to Divination. We climbed up the ladder and spotted Professor Trelawney and she smiled, opening her mouth to say something and frowned. I looked at Luna my back with confusion. She always has something to say, but why not today? I shrugged and went to sit down on one of the cushions next to Luna, Ginny and Jeorgea. They smiled.
"How's it been going? I haven't seen you two in ages" Ginny spoke. I smiled.
"I found out that I'm not Luna's twin. I'm in fact the same age as Ron, your elder brother. But we're born on the same day though. I found it difficult to understand, but all went out well in the end."
Ginny looked at me, shocked.
"So why are you still here? Shouldn't you have moved up a year?"
"I don't know, but I will discuss it with Dumbledore after the tournament, there is already too much going on for tonight." I spoke.
"Oooh. I'm excited!" Ginny spoke and I nodded, looking up at Professor Trelawney as she started the lesson.
