A few weeks had passed and I found myself seeing more and more blood-stained faces with scars from the other teachers.
"Who did this to you?" I'd ask. They'd look at me and to the Carrow twins as I nodded, knowing the exact cause. It made my senses become harder to resist due to the sight of blood everywhere, but I held on tinge and bit my lip to stop myself from quivering. I'd had Neville inform me on the progress of Dumbledore's Army. They'd meet in the room of requirements to have their meeting as they did the two years ago, but now it mostly consisted on healing potions and writing messages on the walls, infuriating the Carrows and Snape. My lessons will consist of strategies to recall fate through palmistry, but they were all unsure as the upcoming war became closer and closer. Only a few weeks after I started taking over divination, Sybil Trelawney returned and helped me with my lessons. The atmosphere of the building was fearful and I could feel the hearts of the students beating wildly, causing me to walk out of the dining hall and to my dormitories in the divination classroom near the Ravenclaw common room. I hadn't seen Luna in a long time due to my business running the classes, but I found space in my schedule and sent her a letter. My fellow classmates soon recovered on my secret and kept very quiet about it, lightening my mood a bit but they still seemed to flinch now and again of my presence. The quidditch teams went on well as the new keeper for Ravenclaw was Michael Corner. I'd seem to have less and less visions of the future, but that night I'd received one that showed me of Harry Potter's location.I was walking down the hallways one night and an overwhelming feeling rushed through me and I closed my eyes and leant against the wall, watching the images flash before my eyes.
In a court room, there were five people; Dolores Umbridge was seated at the court leader's desk, a patronus of a cst seated next to her, letting off streams of light up above her to the dementors that loomed above the room. A woman and her husband were in the middle of the room, with feared looks in their faces. A man with a cross expression was circling them and a woman was taking notes on every word. What was peculiar to me was the necklace wrapped around her neck with Salazar Slytherin's symbol, which I knew was one of the objects Harry and his friends seemed to be searching for, but in a matter of seconds, it was in fact Harry and his two friends Hermione and Ron. I gasped as they grabbed the locket and made it out just in time. I smiled as I was brought back to reality.
Luna was going home over the Christmas holidays but I sadly had to remain here as a staff member, even though Christmas was just over two weeks away. We were sitting in our secret spot in the Ravenclaw tower with the full moon above us. I was fixing her face which had a nasty scab above her eyebrow with a healing potion I brewed one night. She smiled and looked at me happily.
"You are a great teacher" she spoke. I smiled.
"How's the DA going?" I asked. She looked at me.
"We made a secret passageway leading to Aberforth Dumbledore's home in Hogsmeade so we are getting supplies from there." She spoke. I nodded. "They have been punishing me in lessons, the Carrows" she spat out.
"Why?" I asked.
"My father has been writing things about Harry in the Quibbler, haven't you seen?"
"Yes, but why would they punish you and not your father?"
"I don't know"
"I have a bad feeling about this, have you asked father to be careful?"
"Yes, but he knows the risks"
"Yes. He stands up for what's right!"
"Yes." She finished and looked out at the stars.
"Why do you have to turn evil, your sole is of pure good" she spoke. I glanced at her and looked out at the moon.
"Because I have no choice" I spoke. "I promise you, when the war is over I will lead my quest for my destiny" I spoke.
"Why then?" She asked. I handed at her and let a tear fall down my face.
"Because I will lead them all until the end" I spoke as she nodded and hugged me goodbye.
"I'll miss you." She spoke. I smiled and hugged her back.
"Have a good Christmas" I spoke, handing her a present as she did to me.
"Merry Christmas sis" she finished and walked out, leaving me alone under the moonlight.—
Not may kids stayed for Christmas, but a few from each year stayed behind, having no choice. Neville kept me company over Christmas as we set up the divination classroom with tinsel and decorations. Even Trelwaney reeked in the spirit, dressed like a Christmas tree with Professor Mcgonagall caring for her as she sang Christmas carols with glasses of sherry in her hand. I sat with Professor Slughorn that evening, leaving them in peace and Neville helped the first years into the spirit, which was unsuccessful. He'd offered me to celebrate with them in the room of requirements, but I declined, leaving me here with professor Slughorn.
"So your the leader of all of them?" He asked. I nodded.
"Yes" I spoke.
"My what does that make you?"
"Very powerful, invincible and dark"
"You don't seem entirely dark yet"
"Well I haven't committed my sole yet" I finished "Once this war has ended, then I will embark in that quest." I spoke as he nodded, walking away and humming deck the halls. I sat alone in the silence, feeling as if something was missing, or something was wrong. My suspicions boosted as the Carrows left the next day and Luna never returned back from Christmas.Sorry for the long reply and the time skip all of a sudden! What do you think? Will try to edit once I've done this. Check out my other books about vampires; Pure Blood which I reckon is good even though it has like 8 or something chapters. I will see if I should make a sequel, called The Head Vampire and not make it a Fanfiction but my own story of her quest for her destiny! Yea? Please hit the 🌟. It would be great to se if you enjoy it. Please comment or feedback of necessary. Thx heaps.
