"Wake up Kayla" Luke whispers. "morning" I mumble hugging him tightly. He hugs me back and kisses the top of my forhead. "Kayla wake up" my mom yells. "Go Luke" I say pushing him towards the window. He gets up quickly and carefully leaves out the window. Slowly I get up and take a shower. "Mum I'm going out" I say walking towards the front door. "Where?" she aks. "Luke's house" I respond. "Is that a good idea?" she questions. "We're all good mum" I say walking out the front door. When I knock on their front door Beau opens the door and his mouth drops open. "Kayla" he shrieks hugging me. "Hi Beau" I respond hugging him back. "Kayla?" Jai asks coming down the stairs. "Hey Jai" I say. He comes over to me and spins me in a circle. "I missed you" he mumbles. "I missed you too" I respond. "Oh my god you look so different" Beau gushes sitting down. "I do?" I ask confused. "You look great" Skip said coming and giving me a hug. "Thanks Skiplet" I respond taking his hat and putting it on. "Hey Kay, I'm sorry I'm leaving do you want me to cancel?" Luke asks hugging me. "No, Go have fun" I say pushing him out the door. "What do we wanna do today?" Jai asks. "I honestly don't care" I respond shrugging. "What happened yesterday?" Beau asks pulling me down next to him. I shake my head "Something I don't want to relive." "You can talk to us you know" Skip says sitting on the couch. I look over at him and lay my head on his shoulder. "My booyfriend cheated on me" I respond slowly. "What? I'm gonna kill him!" Beau yells jumping up. "Beau please just leave it alone" I whisper as Skip hugs me tightly. I look up and see Jai looking at me with guilt in his eyes. "How am I supposed to leave it alone? He cheated on you" Beau exclaimed angrily. "Dude calm down. She said leave it alone" Jai said getting up and walking away. "I'm gonna go" I mutter standing up. Beau wraps his arms around me. "No stay. I'm sorry" he says hugging me. "I just wanna be alone" I mutter in to his chest. "This is the worst time for you to be alone Kayla. Please stay" Beau urges. "Why do you care so much Beau? I shut you guys out of my life for two months and didn't go to any of your guy's tour dates that you invited me to" I say getting out of his grasp. "I never stopped caring, none of us did Kayla. Why would we stop? " Beau asks grabbing my wrist. "Because-" I start but Skip cuts me off, "You were all we thought about Kayla." "I'll stay" I mumble sitting down.
"Luke you're so adorable" I hear an annoying voice squeak. I look up from my phone and see Luke and Jenna sitting at the kitchen table talking. "Hey" I say to Luke as I go in to the refrigerator and get a drink. "Aren't you going to ask Luke or Gina before you take their stuff?" Jenna aks in a snotty tone. I shrug and pick up an apple. "See yah Luke" I say walking towards Beau's room. "Hey" he announces when I walk in. "Hi" I respond sitting down on his bed. "Whats up?" he asks putting down his phone. "Luke's girlfriend is downstairs and I don't want anything to do with her" I resond honestly. "Nobody does" Beau says chuckling. I respond by laughing. I feel my phone vibrate and I look down at it.
Jake: Can we talk?
Me: Why?
Jake: Because, I feel bad about everything
Me: I dont care. Goodbye. In case I didnt make it clear, we are done.
"Boy trouble?" Beau asks. "Yeah, Jake wont leave me alone" I say locking my phone. "Want me to talk to him for you?" he asks. "No, I'm okay Beau" I respond laughing. "Ok" he says hugging me. "I should probably head home. Mum wasnt excited about me coming here anyway" I say hugging him. "Bye Kay" Beau Skip and James yell as I walk downstairs. "Deuces Bae's" I respond. "Bye Jai" I call out walking past him in the living room. He looks up at me but doesn't respond. "Bye Kay" Luke calls out at me as I walk by the kitchen. "Bye Luke" I say giving him a quick hug. "Love yah bro" I add closing the door.
"Hi mum" I say when she gets home from work. "Hi hun, how was your day?" she aks setting her bag down. "Great" I respond grabbing my phone. "I think it's passed your bedtime, school tomorrow" she says shooing me off to bed. "Night mum" I yell closing my bedroom door. I put my phone on charge and lay down.
