"So you ready?" I ask Aiden smiling widely. "You mean ready to see my foster parents who happen to be moving to a completely different state?" He counters smirking at me. "Yea I guess" I laugh. Aiden smiles at me and kisses my lips softly. "I love you" he whispers against my lips. "I love you too" I reply biting my lip. "You know I'm only happy because of you right?" I sate softly. "That's not true. You're happy because you've found yourself Kayla" Aiden says making me tear up. "Don't cry" he shushes me squeezing me against him. "You don't understand. You and the guys and Maz,Sam and Alex are basically my last resort of happiness. Without you guys I wouldn't be recovering. The first day I was freaking miserable. And then you talked to me and I felt like I had someone who understood me" I explain feeling tears rush down my face. He lifts up my shirt and kisses my scars. "You don't understand how much you mean to me Kayla. I don't have anyone to go to. I have you and my foster sister. I can't lose you because you feel like you only have us for your happiness" Aiden murmurs. I nod and kiss his wrists softly.
"Hi mom and dad" Aiden say hugging his foster parents. "This is my girlfriend Kayla" Aiden introduces. "Nice to meet you" I greet smiling. "An Aussie ey?" Dan(his foster dad) smirks. I blush madly and Aiden squeezes my hand with assurance. "How long have you two been an item?" His foster mom,Deb, questions smiling at our bonded hands. "Almost a month" Aiden smiles. "But it feels like forever" he adds and I begin blushing again.
"I'm going to go get a drink I'll leave you guys to talk for a few" I state excusing myself politely. "I love you" Aiden says kissing me as I get up. "I love you too" I reply.
"Little miss Kayla Ramerez" a familiar voice taunts. I freeze and feel tears prickling in my eyes. "C'mhere baby girl" Jacob continues to taunt getting closer to me. I back up against the wall and begin hyperventilating. "Don't worry" he whispers getting too close. "Please Jacob" I plead tears pouring down my face. Who would've thought the one day I get out of rehab for a day this would happen. "Shut up Kayla" he demands making me begin shaking. "You should be in jail" I spit Angrily. Oh god what am I going? "Got bailed out by a friend of mine" he smiles widely. "Who?" I ask. Why am I even asking. "Your good ol' pal Alex of course" Jacob smirks pinning me against the wall. "What are you doing?" An angry voice exclaims. "Go away" Jacob spits. "Don't tell me what to do" Alex yells loudly. "You bailed me out. Your choice" Jacob announces. "You told me you wouldn't bother her!" Alex defends. "Sucks huh" Jacob laughs. I ran out of Jacobs grasp and saw Aiden. He stares at me and begins running towards me. I see Jacob pull something out of his pocket and I scream. I push Aiden out the way and instant pain flushes through my stomach. "Kayla!" Aiden screams. My vision blurs and all I see is Jacob running away and Alex and Aiden at my side. "I love you" I murmur before everything fades away.
