-----------------------

The fact that Arnev and Kegan knew his sister began to bother Arka.
Sometimes Arka would find Arnev at the bakery or sometimes Geer complained to him about how Gemma spent too much time delivering the bread at the palace. No doubt, she must be spent sometime with the Prince. Arka knew Geer just pretended to complain though. How he could complain when Gemma brought more money for him every time she came back from the palace?

If his calculation was right, it's been eight days since Arka saw the Prince with his own eyes and he knew his pray was not granted. The Prince was alive and Queen Aira, soon or later, would give the throne to his hands.

Snorted loudly, Arka entered his house. It's not much job at the field today and he started to wondering to go to Yatha's place this afternoon when someone faked a cough.
Instinctively, Arka quickly lifted up his face and he couldn't help but surprise for finding Denish inside his home.
He stood at the small space in front of the rooms, leaning his weight on the barrier of the second floor, looking down at him.
From his face, Arka knew Denish was furious though he had no idea what had he done.
Arka decided talk would be better now.

"Denish? What are you doing in here? I thought you're sick. You missed work." Arka said as calm as possible.

Denish pursed his lips a bit. "Yeah, I told Sid and my mom that I was sick and went to the healer. But actually I don't."

Arka furrowed his eyebrows together. "O~kay." He said slowly. "So what's bring you here instead staying home or coming to work?"

Denish sighed a bit. "You know, a week ago, I had a lovely conversation with Lord Arnev." He started.

Arka suddenly tensed. He felt his blood was running through his veins quickly but he gritted his teeth together hard to prevent his face from making any expression.

Denish stared at Arka carefully, seeing his reaction. These whole time, Arka was good hiding his emotion but today, Denish saw something in his eyes. Fear. Though the hazel still looked threatening.

"You never mentioned about that to me." Arka finally responded.

Denish shrugged. "Yeah, I didn't want to. But... The conversation stuck on my head and it stressed me out. I keep thinking about it over and over again, unable to pull it out of my brain. Do you know what Arnev said?"

Arka shook his head and he wasn't sure he wanted to know.

"He said you're the first name on his list to be suspected. I think your name is written on a clean white paper, underlined with a thick line and Arnev decorated around it with flower so he won't missed it." Denish said flatly.
"The question is..." He paused a bit. "...is that true?"

Arka considered wisely to tell him the truth or not. He might be his best friend for a few last years but Arka didn't know what would he do when he found out the truth.
Denish probably wouldn't think that everything he and Gemma had done as a right choice. He probably against it and if he did, Arka would end up in prison.
Denish wasn't Yatha. He would never be like Yatha who understand his doings. Denish was different. He's an honest man and deep in his heart, Arka knew, if he found out the truth, this afternoon would be his last time to take a deep breath as a free man.

"Do you want to answer it, Arka?" Denish spoke again when Arka said nothing.

Arka stared deeply at his friend. He clenched and unclenched his fists, still thinking about what should he say.
"What do you want me to say, Denish? Since the beginning I know Arnev suspicious about me. He already asked everyone around me. Gemma and Yatha. Of course he finally came to you. Do you believe him more then?"
