Kiera watched in amazement when one of the man guarding the prison area was thrown inside. He landed near her cell with a loud thump.
The man made no voice of pain and no move created.
Blood slowly pooled beneath his body. He no longer alive.

A moment after the man shoved inside, two figures walked in.
One of them brought a huge bag in his hand.

"Finally! What took you so long, Maynhard?"

Arka rolled his eyes responding to Kiera.
He dropped the bag on the ground, made everything inside the bag bumped against each other, made tinkle noises filled the area.

Lena threw a key to Arka and he easily caught it with his hand.
He unlocked the cell holding Kiera and Arnev. Behind him, Lena did the same to Lir, Okan and Han.

"I heard noises from outside. What's happening?" Arnev asked.

"Kegan is here." Arka answered. "Yes, the war is begun. The last report said now Kegan and Zuriel are almost reach the castle." He added, seeing the surprise in everyone's eyes.

"Then what are we waiting for?" Han asked. "We will join them, right?"

"No doubt. We will." Lena replied. "But we have a plan to do. Gemma is still a prisoner and the main hall is filled with the strongest army King Aiyaz has."

"What do you mean the strongest?" Arnev asked with deep wrinkles on his forehead.

"The assasins. Arka, Cena, Johan and me are not the only assasins Aiyaz has." Lena said again.

"Well, not everyone is assasin but mostly are." Arka added though what he said didn't make the things easiwfor them.

Lir groaned a bit. From all of them, he's the only obe who didn't look excited to win this war.
He liked to fight for sure but this one was not for his kingdom nor to his people. So he found himself joining this army because all of his friends were.
"Make it quick, Arka. What's the plan?"

"The plan is simple. Some of us will free Gemma and the others will face the soldiers in the main hall."

Okan widened his eyes in surprise. "What?? It just half of us against an army?? We won't make it."

"We won't strike them right away. Zuriel is clearing the path for Kegan and his man to break the front door. We'll join them at the moment." Lena said.

"Whatever!!! I'll set Gemma free." Kiera said. "The blue boy is holding the key to her cell, isn't he? Where is he?"

"Johan is with Aiyaz now but he will show up." Arka said.

"Aiyaz asked Johan to guard him? I thought you're his favorite, Arka." Lir said, there's an accusation inside his voice but Arka ignored it.

"The answer is simple. He won't believe me to stand behind him when he knows I have a strong bond with Gemma." Arka said.

Arnev cocked his eyebrow. "Too bad. I imagine you can slice his neck easily from behind."

"It crossed my mind."

Lena waves her hand impatiently then kneeled in one knee beside the bag Arka brought before.
"Enough chit-chat. We have to move. Kegan and Zuriel supposed to fight in the front line now."
