Arka sat quietly on the dock while Yatha released the saddles carefully from the horses they used before, letting the horses free.
It's been six hours since they left Tara and they were going to continue their journey with a boat tied on the dock.
Arka stared at the boat flatly. He still didn't believe his life was messed up. His doing.
Even the view in front of him was not enough to distract his mind from thinking about the thing he had done.

Arka felt sorry. But sorry was not good enough this time.

After the thing with Denish, Arka ran to Yatha's house and the old man moved quickly for someone on his age.
Without trying to give Arka a long speech about how reckless he was, Yatha grabbed a bag of coins from one of his wardrobe then pulled two horses from his stable. He ordered Arka to change his clothes because it filled with blood and left it on the workshop. They used the horses, rode to this small dock.
The horses quite fast considering Yatha just used them for delivering his works.

Yatha watched the horses were getting far then he turned to see Arka was in a deep thought. He even didn't unleash the bind of the boat like Yatha told him to do before.
He sighed deeply, sat beside him.
"What are you thinking?" He asked.

"Gemma." Arka answered immediately. "She must be on her way home right now. I can't stop thinking how she's going to feel when she sees Denish."

"I know." Yatha whispered lowly. "We can go back if you want."

Arka shook his head. "No. If I come back, I'm sure my punishment are waiting for me. Denish said Arnev is coming and I don't want Gemma to see me behind the bars. It's safer for her if I leave. You said so too." He said.

"I never said she will." Yatha protested. "I said Gemma would be fine once they find out that she has nothing to do with your fugitive. But she will have to pass a few procedures."

"It's the same thing. Beside," Arka paused a bit. "she will do alright. She has Arnev and the Prince."

Yatha furrowed his eyebrows together. "The Prince?"

"Yeah, the next heir of Tara." He said, couldn't hide that he was annoyed. "I don't know how but Gemma knows him. I'm sure he will do anything for her. I've seen him did it once. And let's not forget about Arnev!" Arka ended his explanation.

Yatha didn't say anything. Instead, he threw a black rucksack on the boat and started to untie the rope.
Arka lifted up his face and stared at Yatha.

"You must be thinking that this is my fault too." Arka murmured.

Yatha shook his head. "No, I am not. But I won't say you did the right thing either. You made a mistake once when you killed Nate and I can understand. He was doing things like the man in your nightmares did to your mom. You lost control and you killed him. I accepted that. But with Denish.... I don't know, Arka. It's wrong."

"Then why are you helping me?" Arka asked, frowned his forehead deeply. "You can just turn me in."

Yatha chuckled sadly. "My boy, I thought you know me better than that. You know I won't leave you to handle this alone. You know how much I care about you and Gemma. It hurts me to know Gemma will be paid for what you did. But this time, you need me more than her does. Beside, you said yourself, she has two Knights with her."
