Two and a half years later.

The hazel eyes woman climbed up from the boat. Finally, her feet touched the land called Nuadha for the first time.
She made no move as she judged her surrounding. Since her eyes couldn't see clearly around the fog, she used her ears, tried to hear any suspicious sounds but the only thing she heard were the low buzz from the silence and the bump when the boat made a contact with the dock.

Gemma was sure there were no harm around her. She spun on her heels then helped Kiera.
Those girls tied the boat then Raye jumped between them.

It just three of them now.
Sekt had left them for more than a year. He thought they were strong enough to go by themselves.
Beside, Gemma knew Sekt wasn't a person who lived among a herd. So she didn't try to hold him when he left.

Raye narrowed his eyes tried to see better but the white thick fog prevented him from looking far. Just like Gemma.

Kiera snorted as she tightened the robe around her.
"So, this is Nuadha, yes? It's lovely. No welcoming party?" She commented with a sarcasm on her tone.

Gemma rolled her eyes hearing her comments. It's been more than two years but Kiera couldn't go to sleep well at night if she hadn't made a sarcastic comment from her mouth that day. Raye and her knew about it so well but Kiera was getting better though. At least she lessened her behavior to stab Gemma and Raye with her words.

Her relationship with Kiera was improving as well. They fought for sure. The worst was when they were at Devoss. When they arrived at the village with nothing to eat. Kiera was at the worst of her and she and Gemma started to duel until Raye and Sekt separated both of them.

Gemma didn't say she got along with her all the time. They still had quarrels even for a small matter, but they're protecting each other.
Kiera didn't want to admit it but Gemma knew they were.

Almost three years together made them grown as strong people.
Gemma had turned from a girl to a grown woman. So did Kiera. No more spoiled brat though she's still annoying. Sometimes.

Gemma set her hazel eyes around. She narrowed them, hoped to see better but the fog still won.
"I hate these fog already. How do we know where to go?" Gemma asked as one of her hand played with the circle pendulum in front of her chest.

Raye took one of the torch from the hook. At the time like this, Raye was the one who had to make a call. He really acted like an older brother for those girls. Fortunately for Raye, Gemma and Kiera weren't that hard to control. Those girls were rebels for sure but they still respected him as the oldest among them and heard his words.
"I think we just have to follow the path." Raye gave advice, pointed the wooden path with the torch.
"It will lead us somewhere."

"Yes, a trap." Kiera murmured darkly.

Raye sighed. "It's better than nothing. Look from the positive side, Kiera. If there's a trap, then there's someone around."

Kiera pursed her lips while Gemma pouted. "That's really encouraging, Raye. Really!"
They hated the idea to have a fight in here, where their eyes couldn't see maximally.

The girls heavily had to admit that Raye's idea was the best. It worth it to try than standing there and became an easy target.

Raye led the way. They tried to make no sounds but the wood beneath their feet hinged every time they put their weight on their toe.
