Sekt let one of the soldier of Tara took over the wheel.
He's been holding it for hours now and it made him tired to grip the wheel over and over again while his eyes had to focus on the horizon.

As he looked at the sun, he realized it was getting paler when they sailed further to Edur.
The land of snow was close.
Sekt predicted it would be two or three days till they arrived.
Then....a war.

Sekt sighed a bit as he cracked his knuckles, released the numbness he felt on his fingers.
He never thought he would stand in the middle of this chaos. He never knew he would stand on this ship as the first commander of the huge army, to stand beside Kegan as his trusted man.

Sekt turned his gaze from the horizon and looked behind him, to the numerous ships Kegan brought with him. He smirked a bit. He still couldn't believe Kegan could gather them with the short time. Five hundreds soldiers.

If Aiyaz had seven to eight hundreds man, it wouldn't make too much difference. They had more men under Zuriel's order. It would be enough.
Beside, like he always said, number didn't guarantee a victory.

Around him, Sekt saw a few soldiers doing their job.
This ship never touched the silent mode.
It's always busy.

When a soldier passed him, Sekt stopped him with a whistle.

"Where's Kegan?" Sekt asked.

The soldier widened his eyes in shock when Sekt called Kegan without title. It was obvious that Kegan had the most prestigious position among them and calling him just by his name was an impolite thing to do.

Well, the soldier knew nothing about Kegan and Sekt. Kegan never wanted Sekt to call him by his title and Sekt refused to call him with it.

"King Kegan is on his chamber, Sir." He answered.

Sekt raised an eyebrow. He still couldn't get used to be called so high but he smirked a bit hearing he said the 'King' word.

Yes, Kegan Orvala was no longer a Prince.
He's now the King of Tara.

Aira gave him the responsibility as her way to support her son.
Sekt shivered a bit when he remembered how furious Aira was when Kegan told her about Aiyaz.
Her loved to peace suddenly gone.

After murmured his gratitude to the soldier, Sekt walked to Kegan's chamber.
His walked two decks below, passed the busy soldiers on the kitchen, and finally reached Kegan's chamber.
The King got the biggest cabin on the ship. The reason was simple, they could use that cabin to talk about their strategy.

Sekt knocked the wooden door a bit and pushed it after Kegan allowed him to enter.
The first thing Sekt saw at the cabin was a wall decorated with the symbol of Tara. The phenomenal diamond.

Next, he saw the small bed belonged to the king. A single bed with crumpled blanket above it.
Kegan specifically didn't want a big bed since he shoved inside his room a big square table.
Sekt was staring at it now and he frowned his forehead seeing Kegan was looking at the map above the table seriously.
It was the map of Edur. Zuriel gave them a copy and someone in Tara drew it back three times bigger.
Now the huge parchment was lied calmly above the wooden table and in some spots, there is a white pin about it, indicated where they would place thw soldiers.

When Sekt kicked the door with his feet gently until it closed, Kegan finally looked up.
There's something different about Kegan.
He's more......serious and Sekt could see his face filled with anxiety.
He knew why. It's going to be the first war he had and he was sued to gain the victory. That wasn't easy task.
