"Are you going to see us leaving or are you going to stay here all day?"

Gemma half-smiled sadly as response. She got up from her bed and walked closer to Sekt.
It's actually hurt to move since her body was filled with several cuts Cena and Lena made. She even had one cut on her left cheek and her neck. But they're not bad. They would be gone kn afew days. The worst wound she got was the first cut Cena made on her forearm.
It's pulsating in protest when Gemma moved but she ignored the throb.

"How's Kegan? He's still mad at me, isn't he?"

Sekt sighed deeply as he ran his hand along his purple hair.
"Well, you refused to go back to Tara with him. You know how bad the situation is, Gemma. Aiyaz knows who Kegan is. He will send his assasins soon and if you stay here, you'll be in danger. I can't blame Kegan from being mad at you. He's worried about you, you know?"

"I know, Sekt. But I can't leave without Arka. I have to meet him. I don't want to fight against him when finally the war comes." Gemma said.

"And what's your plan, Gemma? You can't meet Arka that easy now. I'm sure Aiyaz has told every man on his troop to memorize our faces. By the time you show up, you'll be caught. Or worst, killed."

Gemma scrunched her nose. Of course she knew it wouldn't be like flipping your palm to see Arka.
"I know, Sekt. But I have to try. I won't leave him here." Gemma said. "I have to fight for him."

Sekt groaned a bit. "Now I officially think you're insane, and you still wonder why Kegan mad at you? Dammit!! Just go down, will ya? Kegan won't say it but I'm sure he's dying to see you before we leave."

Gemma finally nodded and Sekt left her.
She took her time to walk down the stairs.

It was a risky thing to do remembering Aiyaz was on their tails now. He could be here anytime.

Gemma woke up a few hours ago just to find a mess around her. Everybody was packing, included Manuel and his family.
Gemma felt so guilty for making them leaving their house but Rhea kindly said she's okay with that.
When Kegan offered her to come with him to Tara and gathered his army, her mind suddenly landed on her brother.
Aiyaz's and his assasins knew there's a relation between her and Arka. Her brother probably in an interrogation at the moment.

And like what she said to Sekt. She didn't want to leave and come back just to find she would face her brother like an enemy.
They shared the same blood. And she had to take him to her side.

"Gemma!!! You're alright!!!"

Gemma bit her tongue from making a groan in pain when Alan surrounded his little arms around her leg.
He must be aimed for her wrist but failed. He's five anyway.

Alan's shout automatically made Kegan looked up from the thing he was talking to Manuel.
Gemma met his gaze. She tried to make a smile but she couldn't.
Her muscles were so stiff like she didn't know how to smile.

"Yeah, Alan. I'm fine. Thank you." Gemma said.

Rhea quickly took him from Gemma. "Alan, Gemma is not really well, honey."

Alan suddenly frowned as he stared at Gemma with sad eyes. "Awwh, I'm sorry, Gemma. Friends??" he asked, wiggled his pinky toward her.

Now Gemma couldn't hold her chuckle to come out. He must be thought Gemma mad at him from making her hurt.
