Ruby was running crazily through the grass, while his predecessor was gone, possibly hidden somewhere in the trees.
He sighed loudly. "Ruby, now is not the time to be playing games when there's possibly bloodshed going on right now."
His predecessor emerged from the safety of the trees, talking to Erlin who was walking by his side.
The patrol froze when Ruby called out, "I'm staying in the trees if that's okay with you, Doctor."
The Twelfth Doctor rolled his eyes. "Get down from there."
"My Ruby, stop acting like an idiotic kit and come here."
Thirteen's Ruby - who was rolling in the grass - roles over to him with her tongue lolling out like a dog. "What."
Fire trotted up to them, eyes narrowed in annoyance. "Oh, just let her be herself."
There was a mischievous look in her eyes. "After all, what's the point of being a grownup if you can't be childish sometimes?"
"Okay..." The Doctor meowed absentmindedly, turning away.
A second later he turned back, contemplating what Fire had just said. "I caught that quote, by the way."
