"Hey Blake, get up, we're back."

I yawned and rubbed my eyes. I looked around and sure enough, we were back. Before I opened the car door, Vaas got out before me and opened the door for me. I got out and he helped me walk to the infirmary. I bet the doctor was sick of seeing me. I sat down on the bed and the doctor started tending to my wounds, while Vaas stood a few feet away watching me.

"So...who was that guy?" I asked.

"He was one of Citra's warriors. I killed his son and he went crazy. Then he fucked my sister up the ass and was banned from being a Rakyat warrior ever again."

"Damn...Vaas, is it true that I'm the only thing that keeps you sane?"

"Well...kind of...look, you and I connect with each other and that's pretty much it. You're the only person I can talk to about Citra and all the other bullshit that happens on this island."

"Wow, thanks."

"Yeah, what ever. Get some rest." Vaas got up to leave, but then I remembered something.

"Vaas wait! Can you by any chance see how my brothers are doing? Please? I really miss them." I gave Vaas my puppy dog eyes and he laughed at me.

"Sure I'll check up on them...by the way, the puppy dog eyes bullshit, don't work on me hermano." He walked away and I let the doctor finish up cleaning my wounds.

(The Next Morning...)

When I woke up, I expected to see the beautiful morning sun streaming out from my bedroom window and my brothers yelling at me to get up because I was going to be late for school. But no, I woke up to see Carlos looming over me with a mad expression on his face.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Where is Vaas?"

"What do you mean?"

"You know what I mean, where is he?"

"I don't know, at the outpost where my brothers are?"

"I just came from there and he didn't show up at all."

"Well I don't know, I've been sleeping."

Carlos left without saying another word and I wondered if he still hates me. Chances are, probably. I got up and my whole body ached. New bruises started forming and I sighed. I checked my watch and it read 9:57 am. The doctor was sleeping in his chair and I walked out of the infirmary silently so he wouldn't hear me. Everything seemed nice and perfect. All the soldiers were going about their business and Carlos was doing what ever the fuck he wanted to do, but I didn't care. Since I could clearly do what ever the fuck I wanted, I decided that I would go see my brothers. I left without saying a word to any of the soldiers.

When I arrived at the outpost, everything was on fire. I literally almost had a heart attack when I saw the site before me. I quickly got out of my car and ran inside the base. Dead soldiers were all over the ground and I ran towards the place where they kept my brothers...they weren't there. I started having a panic attack and I saw a soldier crawling on the floor for his life. I went up to him and asked what happened.

"J-Jason Brody happened." Those were the soldier's last words before he died. I heard a car start up and I saw a jeep with Jason and my brothers in it. I yelled, but I knew they couldn't hear me. I ran to my car and started the engine. It roared to life and I quickly gave chase to Jason's car. I followed him for a good bit, until he noticed me. He started shooting at me and I had to try and dodge the bullets that were hitting the windshield. I was getting closer and closer to his car that I could probably jump on the back of it.

I was finally going to save my brothers and I felt a rush of happiness hit me. All of a sudden I heard a loud screaming and I turned to my left and all I saw was a car coming straight at me full speed. The car was full of Rakyat soldiers and they crashed into my car. I couldn't control the car and I ended up swerving off the road and luckily I had my seatbelt on because the car kept flipping over. Finally it stopped and my head felt dizzy. The last thing I saw was the jeep driving away and the warriors coming at me with their guns. My vision started to blur and I blacked out.

(A Few Moments Later...)

When I came to, everything was upside down. I was confused, but then I remembered that I was in a car crash. I felt the blood that was now dry on the side of my head. I felt for my seatbelt and unbuckled it. I slowly got out of the car by breaking the driver window. When I emerged from the broken car and there villagers there looking at the mess. When they noticed me they started screaming.

"He's alive...he's alive!" One of them screamed.

"Let's get out of here!" The villagers ran away and left me stranded in the middle of the jungle.

I stretched my bones and started walking back home. Wait...did I just say home? I meant Vaas's Compound. I had no car and I had no walkie talkie on me so I couldn't call for help. All I could think about was how am I going to get my brothers back and what Vaas would do if he found out that I almost fought Jason Brody. My life fucking sucks.
