The Birth Of The Vision (Part 1)

One Shot #1

Vision's POV

I was just born five minutes ago in a chamber of Mr. Stark's, also known as Tony also known as Iron Man. I was Jarvis for such a long time that I know it's going to be quite an adjustment for me being such a foreign body. I'm no longer just a robotic voice but yet I still have the same robotic voice but my body is red. It's not human though, it's something else. It's true... is a mystery to me. I'm sure I'll figure it out in time. I'm quite intelligent as you probably already know. Tony Stark and the rest of the Avengers are standing in a circle gawking at me. This is certainly overwhelming for me, but I can only imagine how overwhelming it is for them. Though I have to say, there is one Avenger, well I think she's an Avenger anyway, that I don't happen to recognize. She's wearing a lot of black and red clothing, I presume those are colors that she's quite fond of. This may sound awkward to say, but I can't help but be drawn to her. I can tell by analyzing her facial expressions that she's intriguing. I must learn more about her.

Hesitantly, I make my way over to her and hold a hand in the hopes that she will shake it. "Pardon me Miss, but I don't recognize you. Who are you?" She smirks at me. "I think the real question is who... or what are you?" I chuckle to myself. "I'm still figuring that out but all I know is that I'm not human." Her smirk shifts into an expression of understanding. "I'm sorry if I came across as a smart ass, I'm usually nicer than that." I tilt my head and look at her with slight confusion. "What's a smartass?" That earns snickers from all of the Avengers except her. "Well that's just one of the many things you'll have to learn... what do you want to be called?" That's a good question. What do I want to be called? Suddenly out of nowhere, a very fitting name pops into my head. "Vision." I turn and face everyone. "What do you all think?" Tony smiles sincerely. "That name suits you a lot better than Jarvis does." I nod in agreement.

All of the Avengers stand around talking for a few minutes before scattering else where. Tony and Bruce go to the lab, Natasha and Clint go to the training room, Steve goes to his room, and everyone else goes to the kitchen to grab a bite to eat. All of them are gone except the intriguing beauty who's name I have yet to learn. I can't help but wonder why she's still standing just feet away from me. I should take advantage of this opportunity to get to know her. "So Miss...?" "Maximoff." I smile. "Do you have a first name as well as a codename of sorts?" She smiles back, letting her guard down slightly. "My first name's Wanda and my codename is the Scarlet Witch. It suits me quite well considering I constantly shoot red hexes out of my hands and what not." "I like both your real name and your codename, also known as your superhero name."

Wanda's smile shifts into a frown. "I may be Avenger but I don't see myself as a superhero. My brother and I caused a lot of chaos lately. A lot of innocent lives were lost because of us, he even died himself." I frown myself. "I'm sorry to hear that Wanda." "Thank you Vision." I nod. "Say I've heard that a good pizza always brightens up a human's spirits. Are you hungry? I don't have taste buds so I can't really taste most foods..." "I could go for some pizza actually. Do you know how to make calls on a cell phone?" I nod. "That surprising do know how to do given that I've spent years as a computer and even cell phones from time to time. I comprehend their basic functions." A giggle slips out of Wanda's mouth. That sound is music to my ears. "I love the way you phrase your sentences. They sound both intelligent and unique. That's a good trait to have."

If it were possible for me to blush like humans do, I'd be as red as I am now. "Well thank you Wanda. You're pretty intelligent yourself." "I don't think so but I'm flatted by your compliment nonetheless. Can you call in the pizza?" I nod and call in the pizza for her. She wants a pepperoni pizza, which I've noticed is a popular choice, the most popular choice besides cheese of course. I know I analyze every detail of every thing and everyone, but I can't help it. Deep analyzing runs in my DNA. It would be strange if I were to sudden change my ways.

20 minutes later...

The pizza arrives. I let Wanda handle greeting the pizza guy and paying him for it with some money, which was a gift from Tony. I would have given Wanda some money myself, but I don't fully understand how the concept of money works just yet. I'm sure Wanda educate me on it, just like I might educate her on a few things as well, especially when it comes to her powers. That's one of my areas of expertise. Wanda motions for me to grab some pizza as well but I politely decline, simply because I wouldn't be able to taste it. As I said before, I don't really eat, but I do drink at times. I can surprisingly taste liquid but not pizza. Though as I watch Wanda eat her pizza, I can't help but study her even more carefully, taking in every detail of her face and body. It was foolish of me not to notice this sooner, but Wanda Maximoff is the most beautiful women in the world. Of course, I've only seen a few women with my own eyes since being born just today, but Wanda's beauty exceeds the rest by a long shot.

Why am I thinking these thoughts about a women I barely know? I was just born today. I'm not aware of the emotions that I'm feeling... but the funny thing is I can't help but want to explore them more... possibly with Wanda...

I'M BACK :D I tend to think of ideas pretty quickly. I hope you guys like this first part of this one shot! :) -Mary
