One Shot #3

Wanda's POV

  I've had the biggest crush on Vision for months now. I know that I shouldn't given that I'm technically human despite my powers and he's an android. Society would deem us as sinful for the rest of our lives. Well my life will most likely be shorter than his by a long shot but you know what I mean. Vision has developed awareness of most human emotions, though he's still learning the concept of love, both platonic and romantic. I've been giving him tips here and there in exchange for him helping me to control my powers, which I've made a lot of progress on thanks to him. Clint knows that I have a thing for Vision and he keeps nagging at me to tell Vision how I feel. Part of me feels like that there's a chance that he might like me back, but I'm honestly not too sure. What happens if I tell him that I like him and he doesn't feel the same way? It would ruin the beautiful friendship we've created these past few months. Gah this is such a hard decision. 

   Anyways, I'm currently in the kitchen snacking on some fruit when I notice Clint and Vision approaching me. My heart begins to race and I warn Clint with my eyes not to say anything stupid and/or anything that will even so much hint about my feelings for Vision. He smirks at me but gives me a small nod, confirming that he won't spill the beans. Clint wraps an arm around me. "Wanda, how lovely it is to see you." I roll my eyes. "Do you want something Clint?" He playfully gasps. "Me want something from you? Whatever for?" I sigh. "As much of a joy it is to see you Clint, I need a few minutes with Vision alone." I glance at Vision and notice him glaring at Clint, which makes my heart race even more. Vision's jealous of Clint being all over me. I might actually have a chance at being with him. *Squeals internally* Clint has picked up on Vision's jealously and smirks at him. "I'll see myself out. Don't forget Wanda, we have a training session in an hour. I'll be back for you then." Vision huffs as he walks away.

   "Clint seems to be quite touchy with you lately Wanda. Are you two secretly what you call an item?" I look at him and laugh. "Me and Clint a couple, that's gross. He's like an annoying but loving dad figure. We literally have a father daughter relationship Viz. Not to mention he's married and has kids." I swear if Vision could blush, he'd be twice as red as his natural skin tone. "Right, that was silly of me to assume. Forgive me Wanda. I've been a little off lately. I've been fighting these newfound feelings of sorts towards someone." I raise an eyebrow at him. "Are they feelings of affection?" He nods while rubbing the back of his head. "They are, though what unnerves me even more is that they may be romantic feelings." "I see. Are they towards a human?" "Yes." I begin to crack a small smile. "Are they towards a guy or a girl?" Vision chuckles. "I feel like I'm at a job interview right now." 

    I put my hands up in surrender while giggling. "I'm sorry Viz, I'm just trying to help you figure out these new feelings is all. You still need to answer my last question." Vision smiles the most radiant smile at me. "My feelings are towards a very special girl, one that is so special and has yet to see herself the way that I see her." Holly crap, he's referring to that first moment we had back when I was under house arrest not too long after the fall of Sokovia. I remember that moment like it was yesterday. It constantly replays in my head. "Vision... what are you saying?" I notice his hands shaking so I instinctively take them in mine and squeeze them gently. "Wanda, I'm saying these newfound feelings... are for you. I-I like you." I close my eyes and grin from ear to ear. "I like too Vision. I have for awhile now. I was so scared to tell you because I was afraid that you wouldn't feel the same way."

    Vision looks at me with such warmth I'm surprised I haven't melted into a puddle by now. "Wanda, I've never not that felt way about you. It's been so hard navigating such strong feelings for you, especially given that I haven't been alive for that long." I jump into his arms, nearly knocking him over. Thankfully he's able to catch his balance at the last second. He chuckles and properly lifts me up into his arms. "So tell me Wanda, what does this mean?" I smile up at him. "This is where you would ask me to be your girlfriend." He looks at me in awe. "I never thought that an android like myself would have a girlfriend. Wanda Maximoff, will you be my girlfriend?" I wrap my arms around him even tighter and kiss him at full force. When we pull apart, I leave him speechless. "Does that answer your question?" He gently puts me down and wraps an arm around me. "Yes I suppose it does."  

   Hence this is the start of a very interesting and amazing relationship between the Scarlet Witch and the world's smartest android, who far more human than any other android I've ever come across.
