It All Started At A Bar (Part 4)

One Shot #2 (Cont.)

Wanda's POV

  Time Skip... Monday evening...

I'm just getting out of work when suddenly my phone vibrates in my pocket five times. Geez, whoever is texting me must really be eager to talk to me. I hope it's Vision and not Bucky. I pull my phone out of my pocket and frown when I see that is indeed Bucky instead of Vision. I roll my eyes and open my unread messages. As I scroll through the long and angry paragraphs, I come to find out that Vision did indeed break the news to him of us dating and as expected, Bucky didn't take the news very well. I scroll down my contacts and call Vision. He picks up on the third ring. "Are you busy?" "I'm still at work but I'll be free within a half an hour. What's up?" "Bucky is texting me like a psycho and we need to talk." "Meet me at my apartment. I'll text you the address." "Okay see you soon." "Bye Wanda." "Bye Vision." I hang up the phone, get Vision's address through text, and put into my GPS. I manage to get there within twenty minutes.

I'm like twenty minutes early so I simply wait in my car, texting Vision that I'm here and waiting for him. He doesn't answer, which I'm assuming means he's on his way here now. Bucky still continues to text me and I read his messages, though I ignore them. I'm going to show them all to Vision before I even consider responding back to him.

Twenty minutes later...

Vision pulls up next to me, parking his car in the lot of the complex. It's a really nice complex by the way. It's not super fancy but it isn't a dump either. It suits him. We both get out of our cars at the same time. I run into his arms and he spins me around playfully, giving me a gentle peck on the lips before putting me down. "Vision, I'm so happy to see you. It's been such a long day. Bucky won't leave me alone." His small smile shifts into a frown. "I was afraid of that. Him and I had quite the fight today at work. He actually jumped over his desk to reach mine in attempt to strangle me as I told him to stay away from you." I gasp. "Are you okay baby?" He raises an eyebrow and smirks. "Baby? That's a new pet name, though I must say I like the way it sounds rolling off of your tongue." I blush. I keep letting things slip out lately. Ugh. I'm just a mess.

"It's a little chilly out here. Let's head inside, shall we?" He extends an arm out for me to take. I smile and gladly loop my arm through his. "We shall." He leads us into his building and up to the second floor to his apartment. When we get inside, he gives me a quick apartment tour. "Vision, this is a really new place. I'm impressed. Your apartment definitely puts mine to shame." Vision wraps an arm around me. "I'm sure your apartment is nice too Wanda. Do you mind if I pay a visit there soon?" I smile. "Not at all. Why don't you come by to see it this weekend?" "Sounds good. Maybe we can have dinner there too." "I'll make you my signature lasagna. It blows all other lasagnas out of the water." Vision chuckles. "Anything made by you is the best in my book."

A moment of silence passes before I break it. "Vision, we need to talk about this Bucky situation. He isn't going to leave either one of us alone now. He's not all there mentally and i'm concerned about him becoming a psycho stalker towards us." Vision sighs. "I know. I'm concerned about this too. I'll do my best to make sure he doesn't pull any stunts at work, but if he continues to blow up your phone, block his number and avoid places where he normally goes to as much as possible okay?" I nod. "Okay." He presses a kiss to my forehead. "Okay. Say I'm starving, are you hungry?" "I could go for a little something. What do you have?" I watch him thumb through his fridge and cabinets. "I have every kind of soup, pizza, some chicken, mac and cheese, salad, and fruit. For drinks, I have water and apple juice." "I'll take some apple juice and soup please. What kind of soups do you have?" He rattles off twelve different kind of soups before I decide on creamy tomato.

For the rest of the evening, we eat creamy tomato soup, drink apple juice, and unwind a bit, though not by drinking because I'm driving myself home. The last thing I need to end this long day is a DUI to pay off. I'm just really glad I got to Vision. I'm both excited and nervous for him to see my apartment this weekend. I really hope he isn't repulsed by it. Natasha and I live together. I forgot to mention that to him but I'll be sure to do so before he comes over.
