Mello ran all the way to Y/N's house but she wasn't there. L called him to say that her gang leader wanted to meet. He named the location and Mello sprinted there, hoping she'd be with them, but most of all praying she was safe.
The two gangs faced off in an alley way. Y/N was tied up and gagged. Mello's heart broke to see her that way. They shared a look and he tried to signal with his eyes that he'd save her.
Dan immediately started to taunt him.
"Tell us what you know or I'll kill her."
Mello shook his head. "If you even hurt her I'll make sure you never get that information."
"Then I'll kill you. That will hurt her more anyway."
"Do as you please, but I'm the only person who holds the information you need. Kill me and I'll take it to the grave with me."
"You're bluffing."
"Are you going to take the risk though?"
"Are you really willing to throw your life away for a girl? Could you even get it up for her, gay boy?"
Mello just smiled.
"Well whatever, I've had her myself. We all have. We've all fucked your whore. Don't think you're special."
Mello smiled even more. L, Matt and Near were all shocked at how calm he was. They'd have expected him to completely freak out by now.
"Meet me back here in an hour. I'll be on my own and I'll give you your damn information in exchange for Y/N."
L, Matt and Near immediately started to protest and Mello swung his gun at them.
"Shut up! Whose the leader here?!"
"Technically, L is still -"
"Shut the fuck up Near. I swear to god if any of you try to get in my way you're all dead."
