[I was requested to write a Mello x Takada one shot which is never going to happen, but it inspired me to write this instead]
My boyfriend Mello was working on the Kira case and he'd just started meeting with Kira's spokesperson to try get information from her. I'm not quite sure how he wormed his way in there, he just told me he had contacts. I noticed that he was suddenly getting loads of texts. He always looked uncomfortable when he got them and hardly ever texted back. It was getting on my nerves that I couldn't have a conversation with him without his phone going. Plus his text tone was rubbish. We were making out one night when it started off again.
"Who the fuck is texting you?" I finally asked.
"It's that Kiyomi Takada. Kira's spokeperson," He added when I looked at him blankly.
"What does she want? Is it always her whose texting you?"
"Yeah," He replied, looking more uncomfortable. "I have to be nice to her to try pry information out of her."
I narrowed my eyes, "How nice?"
"Just polite. Friendly, you know?"
"No I don't know. You're never friendly. Is she into you?"
"Well I think she's dating Light Yagami."
"That's not what I asked!"
"She's asked me out a few times. Said that Light doesn't have much time for her."
I gritted my teeth.
"But I'm with you, don't worry, she's just someone I'm using."
He tried to kiss me but I pushed him away.
"You fucking smell, Mello, go take a shower!"
"What?"
"I said go shower!" I yelled.
He stood up and walked to the bathroom, throwing me a puzzled look. As aggressive as he was himself, he knew not to mess with me when I was mad at him. As soon as he was gone I took his phone and found this bitch's texts. I didn't read any them but sent her one asking to meet right away. She texted back to agree, I deleted the two messages and hid his phone down the side of the couch. I grabbed my handbag and marched off to meet this hoebag. I went to the park and she was already sitting on a bench waiting for him. I scoffed at the sight of her and stood before her.
"Are you here to meet Mello?" I asked her.
"Yeah, who are you?"
"I'm his girlfriend. He sent me to tell you to leave him alone, he's not interested."
She held her head high and looked at me.
"He seems interested," She replied haughtily.
"We he's not. He's MY boyfriend and he doesn't want to hear from you ever again. So back the fuck off."
The little bitch smirked at me.
"Are you sure it's not you who doesn't want him to hear from me? Let me guess, you sent that text yourself, thinking you could scare me off right? Well he deserves someone better than you."
"Oh please, you have no looks or personality. Misa-Misa is a million times better than you. Even Light Yagami is only using you but Mello actually loves me. So again, I suggest you back the fuck off."
She crossed her arms and gave me that haughty look again.
"Why would I do what a little commoner like you tells me to?"
"One, because no one messes with my man. And two, because I have this."
I reached into my handbag, pulled out Mello's gun and killed her. I stood over her dead body and smirked back at her.
"And three, because you're nothing but a rotten person who the world is better off without. Goodbye bitch, hope I don't see you in Hell."
I turned and walked out of the empty park and went home to my lover. I made sure to give him some extra loving that night.
Also I stole her phone so he could get information and solve the Kira case, then we (and Matt) lived happily ever after.
