"I would have never guessed." I said looking at the tall Ferris wheel, roller coaster, and multiple buildings.

"Well, I'm just full of surprises." He said pulling me to one part of the pier known as Pacific Park.

"One question." I said and Colton turned around to look at me. "Why'd you bring me here?"

He looked around nervously, biting his lip before looking straight into my eyes. "Because it kind of seems like you needed some kind of fun in your life. The party hadn't done anything for you except for a hangover."

"Colton, you're leaving something out."

He sighed hesitantly. "Well, you seemed sad after talking about your brother so this was the one place that popped into my head." He blushed.

I smiled. "That's unbelievably nice."

"Don't get used to it, Cupcake." The cocky asshole is now back. "Now what first?"

"I'd like to say... Pacific Plunge." I chose.

"That's so... childish." He whined. "It doesn't even go up that far. I was seriously hoping you'd say some shit like 'Colton, I'm hungry let's go eat some seafood.'" He mimicked horribly.

"Colton."

"What?"

"I don't like seafood." I said.

"How the fuck can you not like seafood? That is like my addiction."

"It smells disgusting." I answered.

"The smell doesn't always justify it's taste." He stated.

"Aww, you used a sophisticated word." I said.

He dropped his mouth in disbelief. "Excuse you. I am very sophisticated. Thank you very much."

"I can tell. I mean, just by looking at you. It screams 'sophistication'." He smirked.

Fuck no. He screamed, just by looking at him, 'I'm a model'. He wore a tight-fitted t-shirt with cargo shorts and Michael Jordan's.

"Well, I am pretty smart. I do have a 3.9 GPA average." I gawked at him.

"For some reason, I thought other people did your work."

"Nope, all me. Football requires me to have high grades or else I'm off the team." Everybody knew football was Colton's pride and joy. He was the star player and from what I hear, he's well on his way to going to a good college for football.

"I am." I looked up and confusion. "You should really keep your thoughts to yourself, Cupcake." He chuckled. "I have plenty of football scholarship offers." As he talked about football, it seemed an automatic smile was plastered on his face. "I got an offer from the University of Florida to play for the Gators."

"I never admitted this to anyone." He looked up at me in curiosity from looking at the ground. "I've always loved to sing. It doesn't matter what song it is unless it's rap because I can't rap for shit." He laughed at me. "Um, excuse me, there is nothing worse than hearing me rap. Trust me, it's horrendous."

Colton's POV

"Trust me, it's horrendous." She giggled as her light brown hair blew lightly as she walked since it was slightly breezy.

"No, what's horrendous is seeing old people dirty talk. That's horrendous." I laughed. "I've heard you sing. I'd say you're pretty good." I admitted as her cheeks blushed crimson.

As time went on, she was getting easier and easier by the minute. I knew now wasn't the time to play her. Her parents are fucking jackasses and her brother... Well, I'm not going to get into that.
