Colton's POV

I'm not playing her right now.

When I say right now, I mean for the time being. I have made this decision.

Elliana had tons of shit in her life and she still does but my game is being called to a pause.

"I don't see what the point is with her, man." Mason said lying back down on my head tossing a football in the air while Jace was on his phone.

"I don't think it's right, Colton." Jace interfered.

"What's not right?"

The looked at each other before giving me a look. "Listen, she seems like a good lay, but honestly, you told us yourself that you can't stand the sight of her crying. What would you do if you led her right into your trap and she cried because of Mr. Jackass aka you?" Mason reasoned.

"Along with the fact that there is less girls you've been bringing home. It's sort of unnatural."

"Unnatural is how much Colton slept around. How are you not infected?" At that point, they both laughed.

"Shut up." I blushed.

"Aww, Mace. Look at that." Jace pointed. "He's blushing."

"That's adorable." Mason cooed.

"It's not adorable nor do I like her." At that moment, I realized my mistake.

"We never said anything about you liking her." They both chuckled.

"I feel like such a gossip girl." Jace said.

"I hear he owns a silver Lexus."

"You really need to stop watching that movie." I said.

"Well, maybe if Bethany would get off my ass and maybe let me have time to myself, I wouldn't have to watch it. This is my first few hours without the movie and honestly, the movie has become my newest addiction. I need it, guys." Mason cradled his chest.

"Suck it up, Mason."

Bethany was really just Mason's call like Chloe was mine but Bethany and Mason are friends whereas they have been since the beginning of middle school so I guess they are like friends with benefits except for the fact that Mason is getting tired of her.

"Why does Kara always hang around with her?" Mason suddenly asked.

"They're best friends, dumbass."

"Well, that's sensible. Except for the fact that Kara is a wild child and Elliana is a good child." Mason tossed the football to Jace.

"That is where opposites attract." I said.

"And that is where our Colton comes in." Jace smirked. "But seriously; Normally, I would say to go ahead and play her but not this time, Colt."

"I agree with Jace on this one."

"I don't think so, guys." I said with honesty.

"Drop the game, Colton. Have you seen her, Colton? She's done nothing wrong to you. We may be manwhores but at least we have morals about the girls we get." In that moment, is when Jace smirked. "But had she done something bad or unclassy, is when I wouldn't have hesitated."

My anger had started to boil at the moment he said that.

"I wouldn't mind getting with that." I could already feel myself involuntarily clenching my teeth.

"I mean with a pretty face like that, who kno-" I cut him off.

"Would you two shut up?" They looked at me mischievously and I knew I had given them exactly what they wanted.
