I thought the bedroom is the most extravagant place I could be in this palace. Pero pagpasok ko sa banyo para na naman akong napunta sa ibang lugar. Sa gitna ang malaking bathtub na pinalilibutan ng mga sariwang bulaklak. Detalyado hindi lamang ang interior designs maging ang tiles ay halatang gawang kamay dahil sa liit ng mga detalye.

Iniwan ako ni Leo sa loob para makapagrelax matapos ang mahabang biyahe patungo sa Atmos. Pakiramdam ko ngayon ko lang na banat ang mga paa ko. Now that I somehow recall, my memory blurs when I think about where I came from before meeting Leo.

Sumasakit ang ulo ko sa tuwing iisipin ko iyon. Good thing this milk bath I'm wallowing in gives me comfort. Everything around me feels expensive. At ni isa sa mga ito hindi ko nakita sa mundo ng mga tao.

I looked up to see the transparent ceiling which shows the beauty of the full moon. Ang laki-laki ng buwan. No wonder its big since we are at the highest mountain that even man couldn't unearth.

Instinctively I caress my chest. My heart pounded like crazy though it wasn't painful. But it feels familiar.

"Blood of Cosmos..." the words just came right out of my mouth.

Then there are two figures of men inside a house. Ang bilis ng mga larawan sa utak ko. Hindi ako makahabol. Wala akong maintindihan.

"Relax Esmé..." Leo's voice took my attention.

Agad kong niyakap ang hubad kong katawan at hinanap siya.

"I'm here," aniya. I followed his voice. Malayo siya sa akin at alam kong wala siyang makikita sa katawan ko kahit pa nasa iisang silid lang kami. "Does that feel familiar?"

Hindi ko na pinansin ang huli niyang tanong. "What are you doing here?" Untag ko.

I had to look at my body twice just to make sure he won't see anything if ever he comes near.

"Binabantayan ka. The moon is full tonight. You know, just in case you feel something weird again." Aniya. He was sitting at the counter table, leaning against the full lenght mirror. His arms crossed and his feet kicking the air.

"That is the Blood of Cosmos inside your body."

For a second I thought that I heard that somewhere from someone. Pero bago pa ako makapag-isip ng malalim, nagtanong ulit si Leo.

"Anong naramdaman mo?"

I held my chest once again. My heart started to calm as soon as I heard Leo's voice. "Kanina malakas ang tibok ng puso ko pero ngayon hindi na."

"Good." He smiled at me. Malayo siya sa akin pero kung tumama sa akin ang mga ngiti niya parang sumasaya ako. "At least I know being here is the right thing to do." He winked.

I felt my face redened and I tried to hide it from him. Inilubog ko ang katawan ko sa tub hanggang sa baba hanggang sa mata ko nalang ang nakikita niya.

Looking at him feels uneasy but a part of feels I had to. Hindi ko maintidihan ang bulong ng damdamin ko. I wanted to him to talk more. His voice is like a sweet melody.

But something inside of me says no to everything. I don't know what is it and why it happens.

Muli akong tumingala para makita ang buwan. Sinubukan kong hawakan ito mula sa malayo. Hindi ko alam kung bakit bigla ko na lamang iyon nagawa. Nanlumo ang puso ko. Hindi ko kayang abutin ang bagay na napakalayo sa akin.

Muling nagbadya ang mga luha. Ayoko ng umiyak. Inabot ko ang bathrobe na nasa gilid ko lamang. I looked at Leo just to find that he was also looking at me. He was biting a bit of his lower lip. Surprisingly, I didn't find it offensive.
