I stayed in the hospital for what seemed to be forever.
Two long weeks of doing absolutely nothing.
Lying in bed, watching crappy and expensive television.
While the rest of the world seemed to happily move on. News of my stabbing hadn't reached the media thank God. Which meant most people thought I had dropped off the face of the earth for a short period of time.
Quite like the author of this story. * A/N: Sass much? * *look I deserve that*
Everyone was really busy for some reason, I knew that new album releases were coming up and potential preparations for the MAMA awards were a thing.
But, surely someone could come by and visit once in a while.
I was forced to recede back into the world of Candy Crush as a form of entertainment. Man, was I living the life.
Even Top came to visit only once a week, which I thought was a relatively dick move on his part.
I mean your girlfriend got stabbed trying to save one of your bandmates least you could do is come give me hugs or just sit with me for a bit.
Yes, I was salty as hell, I mean being stabbed in the stomach could do that to a person.
The day came for my stitches to be removed, which also meant that I would be released from the sterilised hell that had been my home for the last 2 weeks.
Apparently, everyone was too busy to pick me up on that sad Saturday morning meaning that I had to catch a Taxi back to YG building.
After signing my release papers, I gathered my belongings and made my way over to the exit of the hospital.
A few people on the way to the front recognised me and asked for the odd selca or autograph which I obliged.
They asked why I was there naturally and I told them some excuse along the lines of needing an iron infusion which I'm sure would be on the fan sites within the hour.
When I did get to the entrance I saw a nervous looking Bobby, standing in front of your typical black kpop looking van.
I smiled and gave him a small wave, he was careful to give me a hug before ushering me into the van.
I was just really happy to see someone I knew instead of being forced to take a lonely drive back to the YG building.
"It's so good to see you!" I said after placing my seat belt on and placing my things in the seat beside me.
"Yeah you too!" He chuckled nervously, before saying something is a hushed voice to the driver.
Something was up and I knew I had to get to the bottom of this.
"Bobby, we have been very good friends for a long time haven't we?" I asked watching the look of panic flash over the boy's face.
"Yeah, we have why?" He said trying to avoid eye contact.
"Well you see, I can tell you're nervous about something and I want to know what that is?" I asked grabbing the boy's chin and forcing him to look into my eyes.
Naturally, he blushed the action and tried to move as far away as possible. But I didn't let him move.
"I-I don't know what you mean Alex" He replied, trying to wriggle out of my grasp.
"Bullsh*t, tell me what is going on?" I said rather snidely, I wasn't really in the mood for games after my rather hellish experience of the last two weeks. Boredom can do that to person.
"I can't tell you." He said rather resolutely, what a brave boy I thought before grabbing his arm rather tightly.
"If you think, that for one second you are going to get anything by me after none of you visited me over the last two weeks you have another thing coming!" "I was stuck in a bed while the rest of you got to enjoy the real world and party no doubt!"
"TELL ME WHAT THE F*CK IS GOING ON!" I yelled rather out of breath. I was not in the mood for today.
"NO!" He yelled back, clearly beginning to get frustrated with me.
It was then I noticed the car stopping, we couldn't be at YG already surely. I was sure that we had only been in the car for 10 minutes meaning we had at least half an hour to go.
"Alex, we had reason not to visit you I'm so sorry but it will all be made for soon I promise." Said Bobby giving me a long drawn out hug.
Damn I was being emotional today, maybe I was just tired.
I nodded into the hug just as the door opened.
"Okay Alex, I need you get out of the car now." Said Bobby and I obliged not muttering a single word.
Rubbing my eyes after allowing them time to adjust from the darkest legal tint to be placed on a car in Korea, I followed Bobby into a small shop.
The shop had a small cafe' located in the entrance and a whole bunch of model posters of happy brides and grooms.
Sure I went straight to the coffee counter while Bobby walked to the back of the store.
As I fished for my wallet in my small bag I heard the bright voice of a 16-year-old girl who I could only assume was working at the coffee place.
I hadn't had a real coffee in two weeks.
It's a wonder how I didn't kill Bobby upon the first point of contact. Or any of the nurses really.
"Hello, sir what would you like to order?" She said smiling at me really hard.
"Hmm a double shot latte please" I replied giving her one of my most dazzling smiles.
This was the women who was going to change my life.
Make me a better person.
All with a single cup of coffee.
She blushed hard and got straight to work making the coffee.
Kinda weird that I have that effect on people of the same sex huh.
"Alex!" Bobby said waving me over.
"Just a minute!" I replied as the girl finished up. After hading her what I owed plus a generous tip I made my way over to where Bobby stood.
He was standing with a lady who looked decently shocked by my appearance.
Well, whatever I thought.
"She has been made aware of your situation and will paid for her silence" Said Bobby.
"Okay, let's get you fitted for a wedding dress!" "When is the big day?" She said happily, looking at the both of us eagerly.
"This afternoon" I heard Bobby say.
I choked on my coffee, the liquid burning the back of my throat in shock.
"I'm sorry what?" I said quickly still very clearly still in shock.
"Surprise?" He replied shrugging his shoulders.
