Austin

When I got home, I was welcomed by a few family members. My cousin, Brianna came, and she had her baby in her arms.

I hugged and greeted everybody, catching up with them for a few minutes.

"I will be right back, I just need to put everything upstairs," I excused myself.

I dropped everything in my room and went back downstairs.

"Hi Bella," I smiled, sitting down in front of my cousin's baby.

She was adorable. She had green eyes and dark brown hair, and soft dimples when she smiled.

"She's shy," Bri laughed, noticing Bella's silence.

"Isabella, come on," Bri encouraged.

"What if we play something? You want to play something?" I asked her.
A small smile creeped on her lips, as she happily nodded her head.

"Doll," her soft, high pitched voice spoke. "Alright, we can play with your dolls," I agreed.

She waddled over to a few toys and brought them back.

I lifted her up, and sat her on my lap, kissing her cheek. She was beyond adorable.

She handed me one of her dolls and kept the other in her hand.

Not really knowing what to do, I went along with whatever she did.

"Austin, how's Jessica?" Brianna asked with a smirk. "She's fine, we're going out later," I chuckled.

"Where?" She asked. "Rockefeller center, ice skating," I said. "Wow, what a charming move to make," she smiled.

I nodded my head. "I wanted to do something winter..ish," I said. "Good choice, all honesty," she approved.

Bella began whining, as she couldn't reach her doll. "Oh no," I chuckled, handing it to her.

After a few minutes, I stood up with Bella in my hands. "Do you want to fly?" I asked.

"Ya," she nodded. "Okay, ready?"

I held her legs with one hand and kept the other on her chest, holding her up.

"Put your arms out, Bella," I said. She did as told, keeping her small hands in fists.

"Ready, set, go!"

I took off, making rocket noises with my mouth as I speed walked, making her "fly."

Her giggles filled my ears while she flew around.

This went on for a few minutes before I finally stopped, and continued to hold her against my chest.

"Mama," she called. "I'll take you to her," I said.

"Bri she prefers you over me," I said from down the hall.

I walked to the living room and put her into her mom's arms.

"You're done playing already?" Bri asked her. "Ya," she nodded, rubbing her eyes.

"She's tired," Bri said. "You can put her in my room if you want," I said. "I wouldn't mind."

"Thank you," she smiled, following me upstairs.

Luckily, my room was clean, so I had nothing to worry about. But, to make it easier for Bella to sleep, I slightly shut the curtains.

"Thank you Austin," Brianna said. "No problem."

Slowly shutting the door on my way out, I was called downstairs.
