It was past midnight, officially Christmas Eve. I'm sure Noah and Nick were up as well, but nobody other than them, Lily, Nikki and I were awake.

"Why don't we talk about Jess' love life?" Nikki smiled. My cheeks grew red, while I softly leaned my head back.

"How's Austin?" She asked. "He's fine," I simply said.

"What about your love life?" I asked her. "You tell me," she shrugged.

Nikki and I let out soft laughs. Lily was an amazing girl, but relationships were never her cup of tea.

"Nikki, you have some explaining to do for Lily," I smirked. "Oo, spill everything," Lily said with excitement.

"I'm hungry, I'll be back," I stood up.

Nikki began explaining everything to Lily as I made my way downstairs.

While rummaging through the pantry and pulling out snacks, Austin called my phone.

"Hello," I quietly answered.

"Hey," he smiled. "What are you doing?"

I piled everything into my arms and began making my way upstairs.

"Getting food for Lily, Nikki and myself," I said. "The usual," he shrugged.

"You?" I asked. "Nothing, I'm bored. I was playing video games but stopped and now I have nothing to do."

When I got to my room, I shut the door and dropped all the snacks onto my bed, in the middle of the three of us.

"Hi Austin," Nikki perked her head into the camera. "Hey," he chuckled.

"That's Austin?" Lily asked. "Yeah," I nodded.

They also exchanged greetings, before I set my phone down.

"He's cute," Lily mouthed. "I'm aware.. fuck off," I sarcastically said.

"Hey, by the way, there is a new year's party we can go to," Austin said.

"Yes, that's good. Text me about it later."

Lily, Nikki, Austin and I talked for about an hour, until we finally ended the call.

"I'm about to pass out," Nikki sighed, standing up. "Be right back."

She left my room, and Lily and I scooted closer to each other.

"Did she tell you about him?" I asked. "Yes, what's your plan?" Lily asked.

I looked around my bed but found no sign of Nikki's phone.

"She took her phone," I sighed. "I need to get her phone, text myself his number, and delete that from her phone," I explained.

Lily nodded, a smile approaching her lips.

"And then you're going to set her up with him without her knowing," she caught on.

"Yes, and my plan for that is-" "Plan for what?" Nikki came back into the room.

"Uhm.." I looked at Lily. "How she'll sneak out tomorrow to give Austin his gift," Lily lied.

"Okay," Nikki nodded, convinced.

She collapsed next to me on her phone, leaving us in silence.

"Well, I'm going to bed too," Lily said, laying on my other side.

"In the middle. Of course," I complained, being used to it by now.

"Aww, Nikki, let's make a Jessica sandwich," Lily smiled.
