"I'm coming," I quickly said, hanging up.
I cupped Austin's cheeks and gave him one last kiss, before quickly getting off of his lap.
"Babe, I'm so sorry," I spoke fast, pulling my shirt over my head.
"What's happening?" He asked. "I- Nikki thinks-" I cut myself off, not wanting to exploit her.
"She needs me, I'm sorry," I said, pecking his lips quickly as I gathered my things.
"I'll make it up to you, I promise," I told him, my eyes flickering from his lips back up to his eyes.
He nodded, sadness showing on his face.
"I love you," I said, before running downstairs and out to my car.
I threw my things to the passengers seat and pulled onto the road, buckling my seatbelt as I drove down the street. Putting my phone in its holder, I carefully opened up the gps, and put in her address.
I was fucking scared. It felt like it was happening to me.. again. And we all know how that ended up.
After a few minutes, Nikki called me again.
"Nikki please tell me you're joking," I said, glancing at the FaceTime call. She had tears streaming down her face, and she was shaking her head.
"No, Nikki please," I pushed myself back, turning onto another street.
"What happened?" I asked. "I- it's such a long story, I have to tell you when you're here. I called Lily, she's on her way, too," she explained.
"Did- did you take a pregnancy test?" I asked. "Lily's bringing them, I haven't taken anything yet," she said.
I gripped the wheel, feeling my palms grow sweaty.
"Fuck," I whispered, merging onto the highway.
"How far are you?" She cleared her throat. I glanced at my phone, looking at the top of the screen.
1 hr 7 min
"It's gonna take me an hour, Nikki," I said, looking at the time.
12:48
"Fuck," she quietly said. "What symptoms are you having?" I asked. "I've stayed home these past few days because I've been throwing up. We all thought I was just sick but I don't think it's that," she shook her head.
I thought I was sick.
"Did you get your period?" I asked. "I should've, almost two weeks ago."
I was late, too.
I sighed, pressing my foot down on the gas even harder.
"Okay, is anyone home?" I asked, starting to shake my other leg. "No, nobody is," she shook her head.
"How far is Lily?" I asked. "I don't know," she hopelessly spoke.
I glanced at her, watching her cover her face with her hands. It broke my heart to see her like this. I knew exactly how she felt. It was almost like I was feeling it all again.
"Okay, I'll be there soon, okay? Just keep me updated," I said. "Okay," she sniffed, nodding.
"I love you," I added. "I love you too. Bye."

After about an hour, I slowed down, driving down the streets as I neared her house.
"Your destination is on the right."
Pulling to a stop, I parked right in front of her house, quickly getting out.
Calling her again, I jogged up the porch.
"Fuck," I whispered to myself, ringing the doorbell as it went to voicemail.
I called again, only to be sent to voicemail again. I rang the doorbell twice more, when the door suddenly flung open. Lily stood there, the same uneasy look on her face.
"Where is she?" I stepped inside. "She's taking the test," Lily answered, both of us jogging back upstairs.
"Did she tell you what happened?" I asked, pacing around her room.
"No, I literally got here five minutes ago," Lily shook her head.
I ran my hand through my hair, sitting on her bed. We stayed that way in silence, until we heard the toilet flush from down the hall. I looked up, immediate making eye contact win Lily, who was biting her nails.
When I heard the door open, I stood up.
"What the fuck happened?" I asked as she walked in. She still had tears in her eyes. She still had lines on her face.
"Jess," Lily calmly said. "Nikki, you're 15," I looked at her, as she put the test on her dresser.
"I didn't know," she sobbed.
"Jess, stop," Lily warned, wrapping her arms around Nikki.
I bit my lip, feeling tears well up in my own eyes.
"Just tell me you're joking, Nikki," I said. "I'm not," she pushed herself off of Lily. "How did this happen?!" I raised my voice.
"Jess be quiet, stop yelling at her," Lily furrowed her eyebrows.
I didn't mean to be so aggressive. I really didn't. But I didn't want her to deal with the same stupid issues I had to deal with.
"Nikki, explain when you're ready. We have a few minutes," Lily calmly said.
Nikki sat on her bed, crossing her legs.
"I was at Angelo's house one day after school, and nobody was home, so he suggested that we.. finally do it," she shrugged, wiping her eyes.
I crossed my arms, leaning against the wall.
"Did you-" "Shh," Lily put her hand out, cutting me off at the sound of my harsh tone.
"Did you use protection?" She asked. "We didn't have any," she shook her head.
"And you still did it?" I asked. "I told him I didn't want to, but he kept saying that he would pull out and it would be okay. He was being so chill about it, I gave in eventually," she continued.
I sighed, only for Lily to slap my arm.
"Did he?" I asked. She bit her lip, shaking her head.
"Not fast enough."
"Does he know? Did you tell him, yet?" Lily asked.
Nikki licked her lips, tears still falling down her face.
"He broke up with me literally the day after," she shrugged, barely able to bring the words to her lips.
Oh my god.
"He got what he wanted," she added.
I stopped in realization. My heart shattered even more.
I did this to her.
A/N: so for anyone confused, Jess thinks she's the reason behind all this because she's the one that got / helped get Nikki and Angelo together
