Chapter 3 - Boyfriend

Days passed by like a blur and before I knew it, Friday na. I wish I could say thank God it's Friday, but I can't. Because unlike a normal employee, I don't get to enjoy my weekends.

Kailangan kong magtrabaho, all week round. And it's not because kapos ako sa pera na kailangang kailangan ko. Or na nalulugi ang restaurant ko kaya kailangan pati weekend ay nandito parin ako.

It's just what it is. Ganoon talaga. Walang weekend weekend pag may negosyo kang hinahawakan, and that is something na nakasanayan ko na over the last two years.

Pagpatak ng 3:30 ay nagpaalam na ako sa Manager ng resto ko. "Vina, ikaw na ang bahala. I probably won't be back for the rest of the day." Sabi ko dito.

She nodded. "Yes, Ma'am Addy." Anito.

Alas-singko pa naman ang meeting ko sa Greenbelt but I'm not the type of person na nalalate. Especially pag professional ang kameet ko.

I'm actually meeting a sales representative from Stratford Inc. dahil nagpaplano ako kumuha ng condo unit sa Harmony Residences sa BGC.

Isa ang Harmony Residences sa pinakabagong condominium ng Straford Inc. and if I'm not mistaken, nasa limang taon palang mula ng maitayo ito, but it has been the talk of the town ever ever since.

Ang mga units din nila ang isa sa pinakamahal na condo units sa pagkakaalam ko, since it has been designed by their previous CEO, Ashton Stratford. Or atleast that's what the internet told me.

The representative discussed all there is to know about the financials if I bought any unit, and he also discussed kung ano-ano ang choices ko sa mga units nila.

"I think okay na sakin yung One Bedroom Suite since ako lang naman ang titira." Sabi ko sakanya.

He smiled. "Oh okay. I see. The One Bedroom Suite costs 18.3M, you can opt to pay for it either in 3 years or 5 years." Tumango ako.

Not bad, knowing na nasa sentro ito ng patuloy na pag-unlad ng BGC. It is being surrounded by businesses, establishments, museums and whatnots. So for it's price, I think it's not that bad.

"It has its own gym, function rooms and our famous amenity deck. Yung amenity deck po namin, if not the best, I think it's one of the best amenity decks na mayroon kami out of all our condominiums." Pagpapatuloy pa nito.

Tumango ako at ngumiti. "Yeah, I heard." Sabi ko at tinignan ng mabuti ang picture ng amenity deck na sinasabi niya.

Looking at the picture, para itong yung gitnang parte ng Sofitel, but it's way way better.

Mayroong malaking pool, na napapaligiran ng mga damo at mga puno. Mayroon ding basketball court, at tennis court.

"We can set up another meeting doon na mismo sa condo, Miss Addy, para makita po ninyo kung gaano siya kaganda sa personal. Para din po makita niyo yung unit ng personal." Anito.

Tumango ako. "Will you be free next week? Let's say, Tuesday?" I asked him.

"Sure, Mam. Kahit anong oras po ng Tuesday pwede ako." Mabilis naman nitong sagot.

"Alright. Tuesday, 3PM." Sabi ko dito. By that time, medyo humupa na ang tao sa restaurant so makakaalis na ako nun para sumaglit sa condo.

Past 6 na ng matapos kami sa meeting. At habang nasstuck ako sa traffic ay panay ang text at tawag no Rache kakatamong kung nasan na ako.

"On the way na." I said for the fourth time.

Tinignan ko ang orasan. It's 7PM. Bakit ba madaling madali itong babae na ito. It's not like late na ako ng sobra.
