"Hey, you" a cold and raspy voice called you from across the hallway.

It was a few days after your play date with Kylo, and you had been moved back into the cell because of the worry that you might find your way out of the restraints. You didn't mind it though, the cell had more room to move around and other prisoners to converse with. But you hadn't been fed in days, and you were very very hungry.

You looked up and saw a man with pitch black hair and blue eyes. He couldn't have been older than twenty-five. He had untamed facial fair but he was a healthy weight, so he must have been one of the better treated prisoners.

"Yea?" You replied, not giving him your full attention and beginning to pick dirt from your nails.

"We like what you did there. With Ren." He replied. You smiled slightly but still didn't look up to fave him.

"Well thank you, I do try." You gave him a genuine smile as you looked back at him to see him up against his own bars.

"I'm Marcus. You?"

"Y/N." You gave up trying to pick the dirt out and you sat on your knees facing him. "Why are you here"

"Eh-" he started, shrugging and picking at his shoelace. "I was with the resistance. Got caught in battle an' they never came to get me" he shrugged again, puffing out his bottom lip as if he didn't care. You knew it bothered him, though. Just by the way he said it you could tell that it ate away at him. He looked back up at you and smiled. "Here" he removed a large piece of cornbread wrapped in plastic sheets in from his pockets and tossed it towards you. It landed a few feet in front of you on the glossy floors, and you picked it up as if it were the harpsichord

"Thank you" you whimpered to Marcus. Before waiting for a reply, you already had half of the bread stuffed into your face. You arched your head back and moaned slightly as you chewed. You could hear Marcus chuckling.

"Don't 'chu worry, Y/N. I'll make sure you get fed"

"You can't continue to avoid me like this, Kylo Ren. Weather you like it or not we are still married." Yasmyn's voice interrupted Kylo's meditation. He was sitting cross legged in his own chambers, thinking about nothing in particular and watching the grey walls intently. He took a breath but didn't turn to look at her.

"I'm aware." He said coldly. "But I have all the right to he angry with you. You lied to me"

"I did not lie to you! I kept a secret in caution that you would kill me." She snapped, moving from her previous position at the entrance of the doors until she leaned against the walls that he was staring at.

"I haven't done as much as to lay a finger on you. I've been generous."

"Generous?" She said, laughing almost. "Generous?! How have you been generous?" He snapped up from his seated position to meet her face to face, even though he still towered over her.

"Everything you asked for and I've done it. You asked the First Order to help your planet and I did it without a second thought. You coward before me and I was frightened." He said, clipping his fingers together on the small of his back and pacing around her until he was standing at her right side. "I have turned the world upside-down and I have done it all for you." Kylo said coldly into her ear. "How is that not generous?"

"Any General could have done that for me, Kylo Ren." She snapped back at him and moved too meet his cold brown eyes. "But you couldn't even say that you loved me"

He paused for a moment and studied her. He couldn't explain why she wanted him to say that he loved her so badly, she had confessed to him that her heart belonged to another.

"I won't lie to you, Yasmyn." Kylo shook his head.

"Is it because of her?" She asked, intrigued as she could feel the tears coming again. "The Bounty Hunter"

"She has no part in this" he bit His lip and looked up

"But she does" her heavily accented voice snapped slightly as she gained his attention back down to her."You have compassion for her. Do you not?" She asked him, burrowing her eyebrows. Kylo swallowed and took a breath.

"No."

"Then why? Why can't you seem to eliminate her? That every time you pin her against the wall you melt for her?" She looked up and sniffled, then hooked onto his neck softly. "You look at her like you've never seen a woman in your life"

"That's not true. And you know it." Kylo pulled away from her and pointed softly. "She means nothing to me."

"You've never looked at me like that." Yasmyn igrnored him and pointed to herself, now her tears staining her grey flowing dress.

Kylo didn't know how to reply to that. "You are still young. And you haven't seen true affection yet" he touched her shoulders with his gloved hands. "And I can tell you that what I have for her is not compassion."

"Then what is it? What excuse shall you make this time, Kylo Ren?"

"I see too much of myself in her. Too much of who I used to be." He retorted emotionlessly with a slight shrug. "I see too much Ben Solo."

"Ben Solo died many years ago and now that you see the reminiscence of him you cannot destroy him?" She narrowed her eyes. "You are weak."
