You made your way through the lines of troopers that were in the main rooms, listening to General Hux. Some turned to give you a suspicious look but retreated to their normal stances before their superlative could catch them being unprofessional. Luckily for you, this was one of the times that you weren't just sneaking around the Star Destroyer on the hunt for food. You had been called by Kylo himself, through one of his stormtroopers. Same difference.

You still knew the way there. The trooper didn't seem to, though. You caught yourself correcting some of his turns. Rightfully so, since Kylo kept his chambers segregated from the rest of them. Most people didn't know where they were.

After you were close enough, you turned to the trooper who hadn't said anything the whole time.

"I've got it from here. Thanks." But he shook his head.

"I've got strict orders to make sure you get directly from your cell to Lord Ren's."

"You would've thought they would've assigned somebody who actually knew his way, huh?"

"Shut it, Prisoner." He grasped your wrist, obviously annoyed

"I'm not a prisoner!" You snapped, pulling your wrist back to yourself. "I'm a Bounty Hunter who has no problem taking care of a stormtrooper. So don't touch me." You raised your eyebrows

"I won't touch you." He said automatically.

"I'm getting pretty good at this!" You mumbled to yourself.

He stared right at you with those beautiful green-brown eyes. You could recall his eyes being cold and strict at some times, but every time you met his gaze they seemed to soften.

"I've been meaning to talk to you." He began, sliding his chamber doors to a close from behind you and walking ahead to stand ahead of you again "I thought that you would take it easier now that we're-" he stopped himself, flinching slightly. "What are we?"

You stopped for a second and looked down, your mouth slightly open. "Civil. We're civil." You finally decided, and noticed that he was back in his old attire as an apprentice.

"Civil... That seems awfully friendly" he burrowed his eyebrows "you're the one who decided we had- er- feelings for each other." Kylo managed to mumble out, clipping his fingers together behind his back.

"We can talk about that later. What is it you needed to talk to me about?" You put your weight on one leg.

"You know that my position in the First Order is very executive to say the least."

"You're the ruler of the entire galaxy." The realization made your heart beat a little harder than usual but you carried on "executive is an understatement."

"Whatever it is to you. It means a great deal to me." He nodded with his words. "And you do too" you could feel yourself begin to panic and you could tell he was nervous by the way he licked his lips "mean a great deal to me, I mean."

You couldn't find appropriate words to say. One part of you wanted to jump into his arms and kiss him again, and the other part was still in shock. You couldn't remember anybody ever saying that they loved you. Nobody had even told you that you meant anything to them. And here Kylo was, telling you that you mean the galaxy to him.

"What I'm trying to say is this." He resumed. "I know we've had a past. We both know what we've done to each other." You looked up and was met with the two slashed that trailed across his face. They seemed to be healing quickly but they would forever be there. You thought it was funny though, every woman in his life other than Leia had left a scar on his face. You brought your hand up to your collarbone and felt the permanent burn marks from where his saber had burnt you the first time you met. He stepped closer to you and lifted your chin up with his cold gloved index finger. "But I want to start over. Whatever it is we have, I want to start again" Your breath quivered when he touched you, but you looked back up at him and saw the anticipation in his eyes.

"I killed the person who gave you everything you have. I think that's pretty hard to forget."

"But I can do it." Kylo seemed to moan out, and he let his fingers release you "if you can promise me something" you looked up at him in an invitation for continuation. You were terrified at what he might say. More specifically, terrified that you wouldn't be able to do it and you would lose him.

I don't want to lose you.

"Can you promise me that you'll stay with me? That you won't leave?" Your eyebrows arched upwards and you could see the water welling up in his eyes. "Yasmyn was- is a great Princess. But you can rule by my side" he grasped your fingertips eagerly "we can bring an order to the galaxy. Together."

A sweater would have been just fine but this guy had to offer me the entire galaxy!

You tried to swallow but there was a lump in your throat. You looked down at tour intertwined fingers that seemed to fit perfectly together. You knew without a doubt that you had some kind of love for this man but you didn't know if you had enough strength to leave behind a life that you loved for a man you just met. You're only 21. Kylo was nearing thirty. In your head, you wanted to continue tour work until you were at least thirty and then settle down on some remote planet and raise a family. The Fett family needed to continue on with more Bounty Hunters, after all.

Y/N Ren sounds good.

stop that. Marriage?! You are twenty-one!

The Dark Side, though.

"Its not the Dark Side. We can make it into whatever we want." He proposed.

"Were you reading my thoughts?!" You snapped angrily as you watched him chuckle. It was the first time you'd ever seen him laugh. Smile, for that much. It made you smile with him.

He's beautiful.

You knew he heard you, because he stopped chuckling and just stared down at you with a dumb grin plastered across his face. It didn't suit him, but he looked good nevertheless. For a second you forgot about his offer and just daydreamed that this is the face you could wake up to every day. A face that could teach his children the ways of the Force. A face that you could begin a life with. But then you reminded yourself

I'm just a Bounty Hunter. You stared at him in awe

"You're right. You mean nothing. You have no place in this story. You're nothing" his smile had faded but his grip on your fingers left you confused. You were hurt, but also intrigued. "But you mean everything to me. And we can write a new story. Together."

"Kylo-" you began "I can't just sell my life to you right now." You could see the worry in his eyes so you let go of his hands and placed them on his cheeks, making him flinch at first but soon became comfortable enough to hold your wrists in place "I feel something for you, Kylo. But I'm just a girl from Tatooine. I can't rule an entire-"

"You don't think enough of yourself, Y/N." He spoke out in a hushed tone "wait. Don't say yes or no yet." You felt relieved "when you feel that you are something more than just a girl then give me an answer." He chewed on his lips slightly. "Until then..." You could feel him getting nervous. He didn't finish his sentence.

"Stop talking and kiss me." You stood on the tips of your toes and pushed your lips onto his, immediately remembering (and loving) the way the warmth of his lips felt against yours. Kylo's fingers maneuvered through your hair, finally ending at the sides of your neck so he could hold you closer to him. Your hands moved to his shoulders. He pulled away from you for a moment.
