You scanned over the familiar features that seemed so different from the Force Connections. His stubble was gone, leaving his cheeks smooth and soft just like they used to be. His eyes were the same: glossy and red, carrying heavy blue and black baggage under them.
You could feel the intense pounding in your chest. You knew what you had to do. Your heart already ached.
Kylo stared at you, penetrating right through the mental walls you had built up to keep him out. He broke through like it was nothing, and he sifted through your emotions like they were files in a cabinent.
You found yourself in his arms. You took in his scent, the incredible distinguishable scent that came from the beautiful Skywalker hair. You held him so tight that you felt your feet lift off the ground as he held you back. You felt like you still weren't close enough. You felt his sigh as his lips pressed against your neck.
You held out so much hope for this man.
"Let's go home" he proposed, letting you down and reaching for your hand, which you denied him.
He looked up at you, shocked that you wouldn't let him take your hand. Then he realized.
You would not have brought Chandrilla's entire army to battle if you did not intend on staying with them.
"No" he let out "NO!"
"Kylo--" you tried to speak, but he overpowered you. The way he yelled at you made you feel so small.
You felt both of his hands sliding from your shoulders to your jawline, holding your face up to look at him despite the tears in your eyes. "They're taking you away from me. You're letting them rip us apart!"
You shook your head, growing angrier. You threw his arms down, redness flooding your cheeks with the mix of emotions: sadness and anger.
"you're ripping us apart!" You hissed.
"That's not-"
"Shut up! let me talk!" You shot, your firey snarkiness returning to you as Kylo closed his mouth and crossed his arms, raising his eyebrows in motion for you to continue. "Your mother is on that base." You pointed behind you "everybody who has ever loved you is on that base. You left them, you abandon them!" You pointed out, obviously striking a nerve by the way he flinched "but do you want to know something? They don't care. Everybody in there cares about you. You slaughtered everybody they loved and they still want you back"
"Do you think I care? " Kylo shot, interrupting you "I left for a reason, Y/N. and there is a reason I won't go back."
" You're a Prince to them"
"I'm the Supreme Leader to the rest of the galaxy"
"Is that all that matters to you?!" You cried out, Kylo 's mouth shutting instantaneously. "Is that why you won't come with me? Because you love being in power?"
"No!" He yelled, then bit his lip, softening. "that's not it at all" he unraveled his arms, obviously calming down.
"I don't understand it" you shook your head "if you don't come with me, then. . ." You tried to swallow the lump in your throat "then we are enemies!" You began a new stream of tears as you watched Kylo's emotions bottle up at his tear-duct
He stepped closer to you until he was towering over you. His face looked different in the sun. His cape flew with the Naboo breeze, and his hand reached for his lightsber.
A wave of fear rushed through Your body as you watched him grip the saber with both hands, staring down at it and running his gloves fingers over it softly. He was going to kill you. You knew it.
