"General Organa. Its a pleasure" Yasmyn smiled weakly at the woman whom she knew to be Kylo's mother. She knew Leia knew who she was.
"Princess Yasmyn, The pleasure is mine." Leia smiled sweety back as she rested her palm upon hers, examining the sapphire ring that rested on it.
"You're the princess here, if I'm not mistaken" Yasmyn laughed with Leia. It was a feeling of awkwardness, to say the least. Leia was her mother-in-law even though they didn't speak of it. They hadn't met each other until this moment and were supposed to be sworn enemies, but there was a hint of friendliness in her voice.
"I gave up that title long ago. Come on now, the others are eager to meet you" she said, referring to Poe and her other commanders.

"People of the Resistance. It is my honor to inform you of the Allied Powers' plans. Though Snoke is dead, the First Order army lives on in Kylo Ren. The only way to put an end to the misery and destruction that the First Order has caused is to end the First Order itself. Here I've designed a diagram of the planets supported." Yasmyn's ruler voice came to play as she spoke in front of the crowd of diverse Resistance Fighters. A blue diorama of thirteen planets appeared, and with it the coordinates.
"Chandrilla." Leia interrupted, pointing to a planet on the radar "They've been in contact with...er-Kylo Ren. Reports have said that he was interested in a Treaty signing the allegiance to the First Order."
"Did they sign?" Poe butted his way in
"Yes. They did." Leia saw the disappointment in their eyes
"To keep them from suspecting anything, that is." Yasmyn corrected. "But Kylo Ren will find out soon enough through Y/N"
"What would she have any business telling him?" Poe burrowed his eyebrows and a wrinkle appeared on his forehead
Yasmyn took a breath, mentally preparing for her confession. "I planned on killing Kylo Ren." She blurted out. She could easily detect the sigh emerging from Leia. "But my plan failed. Y/N saved his life, from what I've heard" she nodded with her words.
"And?" Poe waved slightly
"And he is in love with her." She could hear gasps and silent whispers from all around the room. When she glanced over to Leia, she saw nothing but pure happiness.
"That's not good." Poe mumbled and everybody was hushed. "She allies with the Resistance. But if he-"
"If he turned her to the Darkness she could still fight it. I was married to the Dark for a year. None of it phased me."
"She kills people for money. I wouldn't describe her as exactly...good" Poe added
"What's wrong with that?" Leia said, referring to her life as a princess with a blaster "A girls gotta make a living" she shrugged.
"Yeah, but what about when Kylo tells her about that thing" Poe said, wide-eyed.
"What thing?" Yasmyn scowled but was ignored.
"Then we will have to hope that she makes the right decision. She was born to the light side. She was born in Hanna City like Ben."
"How the hell did she make it to Tatooine?"
"You'll have to ask her." Leia smiled. "But for now, our priorities are keeping safe from the First Order until we have built up an army."

The meeting was over. The room had cleared out and right as the last man left, Leia turned to look right at Yasmyn with hopeful eyes.
"How is my son?" She asked in a hushed tone.
"He is..." She couldn't bring herself to say anything. She had no idea, honestly. "He is conflicted. I believe he is confused."
"He's always been that way. Always torn from the Light and the Dark. There's just too much Vader in him." She closed her eyes and shook her head.
"But he is growing stronger with the Force." She said reassuringly. "In fact I've never seen a more talented Jedi." She rubbed Leia's forearm. "Its the Light."
"Its Y/N. Whatever it is that he feels for her is saving him. I fear that its the only Light emotion he has left."
"Its Love, General. Its the most powerful of them all." She smiled. "I think he could come back. Nobody's ever really gone"
"You sound just like Luke." Leia seemed to loosen up. "And you're right. I'm just so afraid to lose him to the dark like I did Han."
"Kylo thought that killing Han would help him. It didn't. I can see it. I remember the night he returned." She sat up and gazed out. Leia watched her intently. "I think it was the only time he seemed to care. It was the only time I'd seen him cry. I remember how he came back to the chambers that night. I had been locked in there after the sounds of the alarms going off, alerting the base of an invasion. He walked in and I could immediately see the tears in his face. At this point, I still believed there to be some kind of emotion in him. I believed I could fall in love with him. Right away he fell into my arms and we just stood there for what felt like eternity. He burrowed himself into my shoulders and just cried. For twenty minutes straight. I didn't question him about it. I just ruffled his hair and let him sob. It seemed like it was what he needed to do."
She looked over and saw Leia conflicted with crying herself or smiling. She just sat there in awe, amazed at the only story she'd heard of her son that involved a good heart. She missed him more than anything.
"There's still good in him I know it."
"We will get him back, General. I promise."
