"Yasmyn" Kylos voice startled the princess, who stared helplessly at the poison she had prepared for her husband "what are you doing here?" She could hear his steps toward her, and she caressed the cup and turned, leaning against the counter as she fiddled nervously with her free hand behind her back. He have her a confused look and a wrinkle appeared in between his eyebrow

"Doing here? These are my quarters too, Kylo Ren." Yasmyn returned the look

"Last time we spoke you called me a coward." He said, chewing on his lip. "What is that" he nodded towards the cup

"Its an energy elixir that I received from Jurni." She lied, referring to the Cook. "I haven't been able to sleep"

Kylo nodded suspiciously, and made his way over to he'd until he was leaning against the counter with her. "Where have you been sleeping?"

"I haven't." She said, annoyed and dodging his question. "Try it, its not as disgusting as I imagined" Yasmyn handed him the cup and he took it gratefully, examining it with extreme circumspect.

"It's water." Kylo said, flatly.

"No it's not. Just try it." She pushed the cup towards him and he
scowled at her, wondering why she was forcing him to drink it. He wondered if he looked tired. He was, from the long nights lying awake thinking about Y/N and his family, but he didn't like the dark circles it left under his eyes.

Nevertheless, he took a sip of the elixir carefully, seeing that it tasted just like water he took a larger sip. He noticed Yasmyn staring at him intently, so he stopped, fearing that he looked selfish.

"Its water."

"Its not. Do you feel any different?" She asked

He bit this lip, feeling a slight simmer of what felt to be some kind of carbonation in his stomach. He clenched his belly through his shirt, and when the pain increased he tossed his cape to the side and fiddled frantically with his shirt until he was completely exposed.

All whole Yasmyn watches.

When Kylo fell backwards from extreme exhaustion, and the balks of swear began forming at his temples as he moaned out in agony, he fit the pieces together.

"You put something in my drink" he managed to say as he clenched onto the bottom cupboards. She looked down at him helplessly.

"I'm sorry. I have to go"

"What the hell..." You mumbled, stepping into Kylo's chambers uncalled for. You couldn't figure out why you came, just that you did. Almost like a trance. Like it was fate. Cheesy, but still.

You roamed around the room for a few moments, observing how plain and undecorated it was. There was no pictures, no personal belongings, it was almost like nobody lived here. The only things that gave the illusion of Kylo sleeping here was his plain sleeveless black shirt that draped over his bed carelessly. You couldn't help yourself, you brought the soft fabric up to your nose and closed your eyes, pretending like it was Kylo.

It smelled just like him, obviously. He had a distinct smell, like one of a deep forest mixed with a sensuous hint of masculinity.

You heard a groan emitting from the washroom to your right, and the haunting sound of Kylo's agony permeated around you quickly as your instincts kicked in and you rushed into the washroom, met with a shirtless Kylo lying on the floor with his hair sprawled about and one arm suspended above his head, the other resting on his abs.

He didn't seem surprised to see you, but when he looked at you and saw you, you could tell he was relieved. You knelt down next to him, studying his condition.

"Lullaby, isn't it?" You'd seen this condition before. Lullaby, was a deadly elixir that attacked the stomach first, then traveled towards the veins for a slow and agonizing death. Luckily, it was saveable if you catch it in time. You set your palm on his forehead, which caused his eyes to close in what seemed to be peace, even though he was burning up. "I can help you." You said, almost in a whisper. "But I'll have to kiss you to extract the poison from you." He looked up at you with slightly parted lips, and you couldn't read his expression but you giggled. "Im just kidding." And you thought, for just one second, that you saw the corners of his lips form into a smile.

You stood up and glanced around, beginning to fumble around in cupboards and drawers until you found something sharp enough to puncture him with. You settled on a razor, even though it was rusted on one side. You melted back down to him and grabbed his arm, resting it across your knees.

"Its going to hurt. A lot. But it's gonna help you, alright?" You said, squeezing his hand slightly. He tried to squeeze back, but you didn't feel anything.

He didn't even flinch. Not when you cut into the crease of his forearm deeply in a diagonal manner, or when you cut across it again even deeper. He just stared at you and your work intently. You could feel his forearm flexing, but he gave you no trouble. Blood trickled down to your hands, but you didn't care.

So much that you put your mouth to the puncture and extracted any poison that was tormenting his veins. Was it disgusting? Yes. You spat out everything that got close to the interior walls of your mouth, but luckily it seemed like he hadn't had much. His body was fighting off the unsolicited killer extraordinarily.

He passed out, and for a second you were afraid you'd killed him, but after a few moments you detected the rising and falling of his chest, and you were content. You scrambled around for a gauze, and when yoYou had retrieved a pillow from his bed and placed it under him, making sure he was comfortable for whenever he awoke. You sat there ruffling his black locks for a few moments before realizing that you had no business here any longer and you should probably leave before the wife returns.

But who tried to kill him?

Did he try to kill himself?

You had no idea. You were worried from one point, that whoever tried to kill him might do it again after they hear of his survival, and worried from another that he tried to do it to himself. You wanted to ask him, but you didn't want to wake him.

You pondered for a bit on why you even felt the urge to come to Kylo's chambers in the first place. There was no reasoning, no confrontation, nothing. You just got up from your cell and made your way over to him in some kind of trance.

Nevertheless, your work was done. And you returned back to your cell wondering if you should have even saved him.
