"So you're using me as...some sort of manipulation?" You narrowed your eyes at Ren, who had rendered you into his own chambers, where you sat uncomfortably across from him on a metal chair.
"We're going to hand you over to the Queen of Chandrilla. In return the First Order will make an alliance and you will be set free." He replied, folding his fingers professionally on the counter.
"You're not setting me free." You said flatly, you knew this game far too well. You had done it yourself. "You're going to make them sign some treaty and then you'll either kill me or bring me back with you"
Kylo looked at you like you had just won a metal. "Same difference." You rolled your eyes and leaned back in the chair, averting your eyes from his and looking down at his hands.
"You know we have to talk about it sometime." You said hoarsely.
"I fail to understand what you mean."
"You know exactly what I mean." You leaned forward again and he kept his eyes glued on you. "Tell me why you're being so nice." You asked almost in a whisper.
"Y/N I told you I wasn't going to hurt you any longer"
"But you never told me why!" You snapped slightly but quickly regained yourself. You looked down at his gloved hands and wondered if he wore a ring under them. "Why do you crumble every time I touch you?"
"I wish I could explain it." He began and looked down at you. "But all I know is that you are my burden."
"Your burden? You mean your weakness?" You asked him and he sucked his cheeks slightly. "Why didn't you get like that when we fought."
"I was fueled with anger. I wanted you to hurt."
"But when you held me against the wall you knew you won." You finished the sentence for Kylo and watched him nod with a look of sadness in his eyes.
"I want nothing but to be free of you." Kylo retorted and you got up out of your seat and paced away, your hands caressing your head. You knew he got up from his as well because you could hear the angry clash of his seat being pushed into the counter. "You make me weak." He yelled from behind you.
You turned and shrugged, and you met each other in the middle so that you were inches away from him. "I did nothing. If you are weak than that's on you." You said simply, shaking your head.
"You don't understand!" He snapped "You are weak too. I can feel it."
"You don't feel that. You don't know the first thing about me!" You burrowed your eyebrows and he just raised his, in a testing kind of way.
"You were born to a princess and a Bounty Hunter on Tatooine twenty-one years ago. Your father, the only person who gave a damn about you was killed just like your grandfather and your mother couldn't bear to live without him. You weren't enough for your own mother so she killed herself right in front of you. At fourteen you hijacked a ship and flew to Coruscant and worked for a year until you had enough money to buy armor. You've been following in your fathers footsteps ever since" he said suavely, like he'd had it all planned out. You looked at him in shock, and you could feel tears welling up in your eyes at his comment about your mother.
"At least my mother loved me enough to not ship me away to my uncle. At least my mother and father loved me enough to make a life for me." You shot back and could immediately see the hurt in Kylo's eyes. You used the backside of your hand to wipe away the tears that were fumbling down your cheeks. You could see his fists clenching.
"You are alone in this world. You have no family, no friends, nobody that loves you. And you think that it suits you. After your mother you never trusted anybody to not leave you. Isn't that right?" He pushed harder, knowing he was hurting you.
"As are you. You left the only people who gave a damn about you for some black robes and a poorly made lightsaber. You want somebody to love but you push everybody away because you know that you're unloveable." You struck back, the tears now turning into those of fury.
"And here you are" he began, pretending like your words didn't sting. "Falling for a married man." You looked up at him with a frown, but you couldn't bring yourself to correct him. You despised him more than anything, but your heart had a pull towards him that you couldn't deny.
"And here you are." You said disgusted "falling for a girl when you're already married" your heart pumped and you could feel fire throughout your veins. You caught his gaze and you could tell that you had hit a nerve.
"I have no feelings for-" Kylo began, but you had other plans. You stood on the tips of your toes and pressed your lips onto his, shaking your hands around his neck possessively. At first, he seemed shocked but after a few seconds he melted into you, kissing back with hunger and aggravation. You hated each other, and you both knew it. You hated the way you loved the kiss.
You pulled away from him and stared right at him, his lips still parted as if he wanted more. You smirked and removed his hands from your waist, and patted his torso.
"No feelings for me, hm?"
