"Your dreams only consist of your Mother, you know" Kylo's cold voice brought you to your senses as you turned around to see him at the edge of the bed, wrapping bandages around his arms.
"What?"
"help me with these. " he commanded simply, and you obeyed, crawling over to him and sitting to his right, grabbing the leather strip and beginning to wrap them around his pale, toned arms. "This morning you dreamt of her"
"I don't remember " You said simply, finishing the last wrap as you tucked the edge into the already wrapped bandage.
"I do. It worries me" he turned to face you
"Why?"
"I know I was so obsessed with teaching you the ways of the Force but-" he placed a palm on your cheek, chilling your face "I'm so afraid that I'll lose you to it"
"What do you mean? How would you lose me to the Force?"
" There was a girl, a long time ago" he said quickly "I was impressed by her strength and we were in the juvenile stage of love. She was one of my knights, and I lost her to the Force."
"How?"
"I killed her." He seemed to moan out, and you looked down, removing his arm and realizing he did not have a shirt. You suddenly became uncomfortable.
"Why." You said, less questioning and more imperitively. You were tired of hearing about how Kylo would kill anybody that got in his way, it was overall unsettling and made you uneasy of ever disobeying him.
" She was a distraction. I had spared her from the first Jedi Slaughter because I pitied her and had feelings for her, but I soon realized she was only holding me back. " he placed his palms on his thighs.
"You killed her because you loved power more."
"I killed her because she chose the light instead of me. I had taught her everything I knew after Skywalker and she still betrayed me."
You finally made yourself look up and saw Kylo's already staring back at you. " Why are you telling me this? To warn me to never choose my own path in life because you'll kill me if I do? "
"No, y/n, stop that." He realized you were beginning a fit
"Oh, I'm sorry that I dream about my mother." You fired back, sarcastically. " I'm sorry that I didn't have the strength to slaughter my own family" you spat, referring to Han soul's death, and watched him flinch.
"That's not what I'm asking of you" you quickly found that he too was beginning to become angry, and you could tell by the sharpness in his voice.
"You're not my dad!" You yelled, standing up and crossing your arms. "You don't get to dictate what I feel! Especially with the Force!" He stood up to meet you, and you immediately regretted your attitude as he looked over you with an angry expression on his face. Though, you had not lost your fire and snarkiness from when you had first met. You lifted your chin up and readjusted your arms. "You don't get to tell me what I belong to"
"You belong to me." He growled, and you burrowed your eyebrows. Was he trying to be sexy? Was he serious? I mean, it was sexy as hell but that's not appropriate at the moment. "You can't just leave. That's now how this works." His voice softened.
"I'm not going to do whatever you say, Kylo. If I want to think about my mother who just happened to belong to the Light Side, then I will. And you can't say anything about it." You began walking away, but you felt Kylo's pulling on your forearm and whipping you around so that you faced him.
