I started to win her heart and heal it at the same time. Hindi 'yun naging madali sa akin, lalo na't alam kong si Mikko pa rin ang mahal niya. Si Mikko, pilit kong nilayo si Karen sa kanya, I tried, paunti-unti. Hindi ko mabilang yung mga araw na umiyak si Karen sa tabi ko. She doesn't have any idea how she broke my heart seeing her looking so miserable. Wala akong magawa kundi i-comfort siya kagaya ng lagi kong ginagawa sa kanya. I hated Mikko for doing that to her, pinaubaya ko sa kanya si Karen, pero anong ginawa niya? He ruined her.

The worst part was not knowing the reason why he did that.

She said yes, after 2 years of trying to win her heart she finally said yes! I am the happiest man ever because damn! I could finally say that she is mine. I'm proud of myself for not losing this time.

Nagpalakpakan lahat ng tao sa restaurant kung saan ako nag-propose.

"Will you be my girlfriend, Karen?"

She said yes, I still couldn't believe it.

She said yes, niyakap niya ako sabay sabing, "Thank you, Jerome. thank you." I hugged her back and there, our second kiss happened. This time, kampante ako na ako lang ang iniisip niya habang magkadikit ang mga labi namin. Wala ng iba.

I graduated college together with Empires. Mikko pursued business related career, Kurt took performing arts, Sam took political science, while Jared became a music major. She inspired me to continue and she didn't fail. I continued studying again ㅡ to become a doctor with her on my side. She always supports me kaya napagsabay ko ang pagiging idol at ang pag-aaral.

For me, Karen is my everything. Para sa akin perfect na ang relationship namin. Habang tumatagal kami, bumabalik na ang dating shine sa mga mata niya. I'm more than happy dahil nagawa kong tulungan siya sa sakit na na-experience niya noon. Ang laki ng pinagbago ni Karen, nag-mature siya ng sobra pagkalipat niya sa Newvani University to start a new life. Maraming nakapansin, even Empires noticed her changes. Except for Mikko, hindi na sila ulit nagkita after ng first press conference namin.

It was hard not to interact with Mikko. We lived in the same dorm, we were bandmates and best friends. Kailangan namin pekein ang emotions namin during interviews, at kapag our fans asked us something that we should do na hindi namin pwedeng i-refuse. On cam lang kami nag-iinteract ni Mikko, dahil kahit gusto kong makipagayos sa kanya for the sake of everyone, I couldn't do it. Yes, dahil 'yun kay Karen. Hindi ko pa rin siya mapatawad sa ginawa niya kay Karen.

Mikko acted like he doesn't care at all. When I told him na kami na ni Karen, he nodded and just simply said, "Congratulations." then he left me afterwards.

Mikko being calm about everything made me think that he doesn't care anymore, that he doesn't care about our relationship and it's the right time for them to meet each other again after 4 years.

Karen met him again at MS Entertainment anniversary party. Nakatingin lang ako kay Karen all the time at pansin kong nag-iba ang kinikilos niya. She was gazing at Mikko as if he were the only person in this planet when he walked towards our direction. I felt a pang inside me just by thinking that. I knew, I shouldn't feel threatened but I can't help it. She was looking at him the same way before. Before, when they were still in love.
