Karen's POV

We just arrived at Victoriano's resort. Tinext sa akin ni Sam ang exact location ng place at nagpabook na rin daw siya ng room para sa aming dalawa ni Mikko. Wow, what a great friend.

"Here's the key, ma'am and sir." Inabot ng babae yung susi sa kwarto. Teka bakit isa lang 'tong susi?

I looked at her with confusion on my face.

"Umh, isang room lang po kasi yung pinabook ni Sir Sam." My jaw drops. I'm going to kill you, Sam Drey Victoriano!

My phone vibrates.

From Sam Victoriano:

Have fun xxxxxDDDD Don't worry kami na bahala dito sa Manila. Make babies! A lot of babies!

Napatingin ako kay Mikko na tahimik ini-scan ang paligid. Bakit ba ganito 'tong mga kaibigan niya? Did they plan this? Ako lang ba ang walang alam?

"We're going to share a room." I said. Mikko smirks triumphantly.

I rolled my eyes and pointed my finger at his face while walking towards our room. "Don't you dare touch me." I warned him.

He scoffs. "I won't. Tss."

The room is big enough for two people. May king size bed din at balcony. Good thing, may sofa kung saan ko patutulugin si Mikko ngayong gabi.

Agad akong tumalon sa kama at humiga. Lumapit sa akin si Mikko at tinignan lang ako habang nakapamewang.

"Ako dito. Doon ka sa sofa." I said to him. Ah, I'm so tired.

"You are so harsh to me." Hindi ko siya pinansin, kinuha ko yung unan at tinakip sa mukha ko.

Naramdaman kong nag-bounce yung kama at biglang nalang may umagaw sa comforter. Pagkalingon ko, Mikko's already lying right by my side.

"Y-yah!" His face is so close to mine. I can smell the mint flavored candy he ate when we were in the car, I want to kiss him so badly. He is so irresistible!

He slowly opened his eyes. Damn it, those beautiful eyes of his.

"Why did you reject Jerome's proposal?"

The silence between us is deafening.

"Because I still love you. I don't want to marry him when I love someone else."

He smiled a little. Of course, alam ko naguguilty pa rin siya dahil kaibigan niya si Jerome, pero mas lalo akong maguguilty kapag hindi ko sinunod ang tinitibok ng puso ko.

"I gave you a hard time, didn't I?"

I nodded. "It's worth it."

Kusang pumikit ang mga mata ko sa pagod at puyat na rin siguro. Nararamdaman ko pa rin ang hininga ni Mikko sa mukha ko so I decided to sleep. After a couple of minutes, I felt something soft on my forehead. It's his lips.

Sneaky bastard. I'm too tired to punch him in the face.

Nakaramdam ako ng hilo for some reason pero hindi ko nalang din pinansin at nagpahinga nalang.

"Bacon."

Amoy ng bacon ang gumising sa 'kin kinaumagahan.

Si Mikko ba yung naglulu---"Good morning." He's wearing an apron oh my gosh! I swear, it made him hotter, I.can't.breathe.

"We look like husband and wife." I uttered.

"Yah! Stop rushing." I rolled my eyes. "I'm not, tss." Binato ko sa kanya yung unan since ayun lang ang nearest na bagay sa tabi ko na pwedeng ibato sa kanya.

Pero nasalo niya rin ito because he is Mikko Tan, I'm kinda disappointed.

Imbes na mag-away pa kami, agad akong bumangon at pumunta sa harap ng table para titigan yung mga niluto niya na in fairness, mukhang edible na sya.

"Take a seat." Sinunod ko siya dahil gutom na rin ako.

Sinimulan ko na lantakan yung nakahaing bacon, egg at brown rice sa table habang nakatitig lang si Mikko sa akin nang nakakaloko.

"Kakain ka ba o tititigan mo lang ako?" I asked.

"I can do both so why bother? Just continue eating, tss." I rolled my eyes but my heart is smiling.

"Dahil sa dating scandal nina Empires leader Mikko Tan at Karen Francisco o ex-girlfriend ni Jerome Mercado, first solo concert ng Empires sa biyernes matutuloy pa nga ba---*click*"

I shouldn't open the TV to watch news. It brought me back to reality and I hate it.

Bumukas ang pinto at pumasok si Mikko na kagagaling lang sa balcony. "The concert is on friday." I mentioned. Hanggang kailan kami ganito?

"Did you watch the news?" I nodded. Bilin niya sa 'kin na wag muna magbubukas ng tv o social media dahil sa mga balita tungkol sa amin at sa Empires pero ito ang nangyari, hindi ko siya sinunod kaya nababaliw na naman ako kakaisip sa gagawin.

"Jared texted me, he said that we don't have to worry about it. They will do a press conference to clarify the issue." I just can't stop worrying. What am I supposed to feel?

"I will not attend to our concert if needed---" I cut him off.

"No! Please don't ruin your first solo concert for me, Mikko. Don't disappoint your fans who waited so long just to see you in real life."

He took a deep breath. Hindi ako papayag na wala na nga si Jerome, wala pang Mikko sa first solo concert ng Empires. Hindi pwede.

"How about you?"

"Don't mind me Mikko, 22 na ako. You are the one who taught me to become independent and strong 4 years ago, remember? You made me like this, aren't you proud?"

He pulled me and kissed me so aggressively like there's no tomorrow. "I'm proud of you. I really am."

I kissed him back. "Hindi na ba ako yung dating Karen na minahal mo?"

"Still you, but better." When will this making out scenes stop?

"Go pack your things and go back to Manila. May concert ka pa." He kissed me again, what the heck?

"Later, I will miss the taste of your lips." He's really a good kisser!

"Idiot." I said, smiling. Why are you doing this to me, Mikko Tan? Free my lips!

Kumalas na ako bago pa may mangyaring kakaiba at hinanda na ang maleta niya. I can't stop biting my lips while packing his things. Hindi rin nakatulong ang pag-back hug niya sa akin habang inaayos ang gamit niya dahil namula lang lalo ang pisnge ko.

"Ma-mimiss kita." Na-startle ako sa pagtatagalog niya.

"Duh, 4 years nga akong wala sa tabi mo kinaya mo, ngayon pa kayang 1 week lang." I heard him sigh.

"I nearly lost my sanity during those days without you, if you only knew."

Mikko and his words. Ugh.

"Tsk, sige na ako na bahala sa sarili ko. Good luck sa solo concert niyo."

Sam's POV

"Aish!" Hirap na hirap na ako mag adjust sa steps dahil karamihan talaga part ni Jerome since siya ang main dancer.

Miss na kita, bro. Balik kana sa Empires.

Kamusta kaya sina Karen at Mikko sa resort? Hehehehe. Thank me later, Mikko Tan.
