A few weeks passed by uneventfully, if you could call it that. Keith would often sneek off like he did in training, but everyone else seemed normal, and I got to know the paladins more and more. I became friends with Pidge and Allura, who were fun in their own way. Pidge and I often geeked out about video games we liked as kids, and Allura gave me makeovers that I had missed out in my childhood. I often cooked with Hunk, since we both loved doing so, and Shiro was always supportive of everyone, and was always the one to stop fights. Coran reminded me a lot of my Abuelo when he was alive.

It wasn't long until Kekini had planned a slumber party for everyone at the castle, which I didn't completely agree with. Keith and I still weren't on good terms and avoided each other as much as possible, but I figured everyone else would contribute and make it fun in their own way.

Right after lunch, Hunk, Shiro and I made some baked goods for later that night. Pidge went on her computer to find a horror movie for us to watch, after hooking it up to a giant screen in the lounge, which I didn't know existed. Lance put together a playlist (which I thought was a bad idea, but no one else knew of his bad taste in music) and Allura and Kekini planned some fun activities for us to do (including some games from their cultures). By the time the sun started setting, everything was ready.

Everyone went to change into something to sleep with, and I got ready to let loose and have some fun, something I haven't done in a long time. As soon as I stepped out of my room, I heard arguing.

"NO! LANCE, I AM NOT GOING TO SOME STUPID SLEEPOVER!!"

"Oh, come on Mullet, you need to know what REAL fun is, not just training all day!"

"I. Said. No."

Lance looked over and me and pouted. "Back me up here."

I sighed. "Keith, just do this. If not for Lance, for the others."

He huffed and crossed his arms. Okay, not working, I thought, I'll try bribing him, but with what?

"Hmm, I did pick up some pretty badass tricks when I was with the Galra, I could teach you tomorrow."

"That makes me want to go even less," Keith said in a monotone.

"Then I'll drag you there. Come on, we're going," I said, grabbing his hand and pulling in the direction of the lounge. To my great surprise, he didn't fight back, just rolled his eyes and followed me. I looked back at him and smirked. "Good kitty."

He blushed and kicked the back of my leg. We reached the lounge with a flustered Keith and content Lance. Kekini gave me a stern look.

"Jade, what took you so long? Everyone was waiting for you three," She whined.

"Sorry, we had some technical difficulties," I rolled my eyes, Keith kicked me again. "Ouch! Stop doing that!"

"You deserve it," he grumbled, a faint pink still on his cheeks.

"Whatever. Just try to enjoy yourself here, no emoing aloud."

He glared at me and went to go talk to Shiro, and Kekini and I sat down. She almost screeched in excitement.

"He SO likes you!" She said in a hushed voice. I shook my head.

"No way, he hates me Kiwi," I said. "And, quite frankly, I have similar feelings towards him."

"Aw, I ship it!" I forgot she had a shipping problem. "Ohh, what should your ship name BE? Jeith? No, Kade!"

"Shh, Kekini! Stop that! Do you want me to start shipping you with Lance?"

"I already am!"

"God dammit."

I looked back to see if anyone was watching us, and Keith was looking over, a faint smile playing on his lips. He almost immediately saw me looking at him staring and scowled at me. I blew a raspberry at him and he kept talking to Shiro. Kekini squealed.
