((C'mon, you guys can't stay dead forever))

Flashing lights.

Voices murmuring.

My heart beating. I'm not dead, but I'm not alive.

"Will she live?"

"She will live."

"And you aren't going to track her at all?"

"No, I have no reason to."

My eyes open. I sit up, rubbing my head. Where am I? I look around. I seem to be moving, so I was in some kind of pod. I wasn't in my armor anymore, rather a black, skin tight suit. I looked at my figure. I seemed to have lost weight, my rib cage was showing.

Groaning, I stand up, wobbly at first, but grow stronger as I make my way to the pilot's chair. No one's there, but the pod is on autopilot towards a specific location. The Galra HQ. Who did this?

I look at my reflection on the shiny window. I looked really different. My hair was still short, but now... now it was a snow white color. Under my eyes.... I had Altean markings. They were lilac purple, making my eyes stand out more than they normally did. My eyes... my irises had stayed blue, but my pupils were the same purple as my markings. I looked up at my ears, and they had changed as well. While they still were wolf ears, they were longer and sharper.

Whatever happened to me, it had brought out my Altean side quite a bit. To be honest, I kind of liked it.

I turned my attention back to the pod, but I wasn't worried about its destination. Lotor was now emperor, which meant he also had control of the HQ. My main concern was how long it would take. As far as I knew, I had no food or water, and I could sense the oxygen wasn't going to last more than a day. I checked the control panel to see if I could send out a distress signal. Yes! I typed in a link to send to Lotor, and tried opening the com.

The link opened, and there stood Lotor. He seemed tired, but happy, like he'd accomplished something major.

"Lotor!" I said happily. He squinted at me.

"Do I know you?" Oh, right! He probably didn't recognize me.

"Lotor, it's me, Jade!"

"...Jade died quite some time ago. I don't know who you think you are, but the Jade I knew is dead."

"I can prove it's me!"

"Really? How?"

"Do you know anyone else besides Jared who can do this?" I tried shifting into my wolf form. Nothing happened. Lotor raised an eyebrow, unimpressed. Come on! I needed to get back to Voltron. For them. I felt myself growing, snout lengthening, my physic more athletic. I was the giant purple wolf I once was, the same size and everything. The only problem... I was crammed inside the small pod now.

"S-See?" I grunted, trying to face him in the small amount of space I had. His cold frown softened.

"Very well, but you still need to be questioned."

"That's fine."

The pod made it to the Galra HQ, and the doors to the landing deck opened. Lotor waited there by himself, ready to attack if necessary.

"Why aren't the others here?"

"I didn't want to alert them just yet, just in case you were an imposter," Lotor said. He asked me a few questions that only we would know. I answered them all in a heartbeat, making him smiled. "So it really is you. But how?"
