The hours passed, which turned to days, which turned to weeks. Finally, after what seemed like a month, the door opened for the second time ever. I got up, excited. Iverson was there, frowning as usual.

"Don't get too excited, we're only here to gather some of your blood to run tests," he grunted. "If you cooperate, Admiral Sanda ((is that even her fucking name??)) let you go see the others that are being held. If you don't, you might be here for the rest of your life."

A few doctors walked in, syringes and other medical equipment ready. I sat down on the bed, holding my arm out to them. Blood was a small price to pay for my friends. One of the doctors took my arm, sterilizing it before sticking the syringe in my arm. I winced. It actually didn't hurt as much as I had feared, but it was still unnerving, seeing my blood flow through the small tube.

When it was finally over, they took the syringe out, cleaned the wound, and wrapped a bandage up in it. Iverson looked over at me, looking slightly disgusted. I probably really smelled.

"Alright, now I'm going to have Amelia here escort you to the showers. Don't think of trying anything funny, she's an experienced military guard and will not hesitate to put you down if necessary.

Amelia, who was a head shorter than me, guided me through the halls of the Garrison, until we were at the showers, to which she handed me a towel and a fresh change of clothes. I nodded a thanks and walked inside.

Unfortunately, the showers only had five minute limits, so I wasn't as clean as I wanted to be, but it was better, considering I hadn't bathed for quite some time. I put on the cloths the Garrison had supplied, which was just a basic cadet uniform. I walked back out, and Amelia returned the smile I had given her.

She took me back to the cells, where I would get to see everyone, just as Iverson had promised.  Amelia took me to the first cell, where I was told Allura was.

"We would like to request a visit," she spoke into the mic. The speaker overhead replied shortly after. "Permission granted."

We walked inside, and I soon found that Allura's cell was very similar to mine. She looked up at us from her lunch, but she brightened up when she saw me.

"Jade?! How did you get out?"

"Iverson actually gave me permission. Crazy, right?"

"No kidding. I've missed you so much, and the rest of the team. Lance, Pidge and Hunk stop by to visit me every day, and I think it's the only thing that's kept me sane."

We chatted for a while longer, before our time was over. Things went like this for Romelle, Krolia, Coran, And Kekini, who couldn't stop crying when she saw me. The next cell was Keith's. We walked in, and saw him standing at the glass, waiting for us. His face went from impatience to shock, until it grew into a big smile.

"Jade, you're okay," Keith said calmly, which was a big surprise. I returned his smile.

"So are you."

"I'm more than okay now that you're here."

I blushed. "Oh, stop it you. I'm guessing they haven't the let you out yet?"

"Nope. Nor have they been giving me anything to do," Keith said, a little too cheerfully.

"Are you alright? You sound way too happy about that."

"To be honest, I like being left with my thoughts. It gives me time to think things more thouroughly, I guess."

"I don't see how you stand it," I said while shaking my head. "It would drive me crazy personally."
