"The best planets to take over would be the ones in sector C, as they have the least guard—"

"I disagree, Princess, the best place would be sector D, you need to take out the most powerful ones first, then let the others crumble..."

I roll my eyes as I listen to Lotor and Allura argue. After another few weeks, Lotor started acting as though he were in charge of where to take over, and it was getting a little frustrating, even if he was always right.

However, even though the two were arguing, it wasn't the same kind of hostility I sensed when Lotor first arrived. You could see both of them trying to hide smiles, looking into each other's eyes, only to look away blushing. It was obvious the two were falling in love. Lance seemed to see it too, but he didn't like it. He just crossed his arms and legs and glared suspiciously at them, muttering to himself.

Tired of their bickering, I stand up from the floor.

"Enough. We need to attack from sector E, that's where the most people are in need of rescuing. We can take Voltron there, and leave Sector D for Jared and I to handle," I say. Jared grins at me. Ever since Keith left, we did everything together, especially going on missions. Usually it was Jared forcing us to do things together, but I've learned to stop resisting. Trying my hardest not to blush, I look back up at the map of the three sectors we were focusing on.

"Actually, we don't want to send Voltron in full force to Sector E," Shiro pointed out. "I'm thinking we split up the lions, let two go to Sector E, three to Sector D, and you two can handle Sector C."

"Aww But Shiro, that's no fun," Jared whined. "Sector C is full of pushover Galra, they won't be a challenge at all."

"This is war, not a game," Allura said sternly. "We don't want to jeopardize our chances of winning just because you want a fight."

Jared huffed and leaned back. I roll my eyes at him.

"Okay... So we should send the Black and Green lions to Sector E, the rest should go to D," I said. Shiro nodded.

"That seems like a reasonable choice."

"Sooo.... are we done here? Because I want lunch," Hunk said. Lotor nodded.

"I believe so. Allura?"

She nodded as well, and we left the bridge. As I was about to leave, Jared took my hand. I stopped and looked back at him, wondering why he would do so. He was blushing madly, and let go.

"B-Before you go, t-there's something I wanted to give you," he stuttered. He reached into the pocket of his hoodie and pulled out a charm of a wolf on a silver chain. He held it out to me, and I took it from his hand, looking at it in awe.

"Jared! This is so beautiful! Thank you!" I exclaimed. He laughed nervously, rubbing the back of his head.

"Y-Yeah. When I saw it, I thought of you," he said.

"Where did you get it?"

"Well, you know how I was gone a few days ago on a mission?"

"Yeah."

"Well, I ran into a merchant on the way back. He was selling all his treasures to feed his family, so I couldn't say no to his offer. I-I actually have a matching one," he said, pulling a matching necklace out from underneath his hoodie. I couldn't help but laugh. He got redder,  and started rambling.

"W-What? I just thought having matching necklaces would be cute and—"

"I'm sorry, you're just too adorable when you get all nervous and blushy like that," I giggled. Jared gave me a shy smile, making me laugh more. "Get over here you."
