YAY! Two updates in a day! I just feel very inspired today. Hope you enjoy! Sorry for flooding in your feeds. :)

I woke up to see a really good looking guy sitting beside me, holding my hand. It wasn’t a face I remembered. He had golden eyes which shone silver when the sun rays hit them from the window, deep blonde hair and the front two buttons of his shirt were unbuttoned, revealing his perfectly carved abs. I didn’t realize I was staring.

“Love, are you alright?” He whispered gently into my ear, stroking my neck lightly with his lips as he retreated. I felt a weird kind of electric current pass through my body.

Don’t be charmed by his looks. A voice inside told me. I pulled my hand back immediately.

“Who are you?”I asked.

“You don’t remember me? I’m your fiancé, Jake.” He held my face in his hands. “Love, don’t you remember me? You had gone shopping for this really pretty wedding dress to Vegas, and I had gone out on a business trip but when I returned, you were not home. I was so worried. I looked everywhere for you. It was so lucky I came across your photo in the newspaper.”

“Wait, wait, wait. I don’t remember any of that.”

“You met me through Stacy. It’s a long story.”

He pulled out a picture from his pocket. I looked at it. It was me and him kissing and dancing at what seemed like some tribal festival. I looked really happy in the picture. A smile passed my face unknowingly.

“That’s us. Our first date.”

“I don’t know.” I still couldn’t get myself to believe him. He pulled out more photos of us. It looked like we were really in love. How in the hell did a girl like me get a guy like him? He looked too good for me. It seemed almost unreal.

He held my hand. “See, that’s the ring I gave to you when I proposed you. Trust me, come with me home.” He made such a charming face that it seemed almost impossible to deny him. And the pictures too spoke that we were in love.

I nodded slightly. “Let’s see where this goes.”

I began to get up from bed but he spontaneously lifted me in his arms and began carrying me to his car. His eyes were glued to mine throughout. I could feel my heart racing in his arms.

We had a long drive during which he narrated to me how we met when he was dating Stacy, how we clicked and fell in love at first sight and how Stacy tried to break us apart. Everything seemed somewhat believable.

“I believe you.” I finally told him. “But all this is too much for me to take in. I don’t remember you at all so I don’t have any feelings towards you for now. Just give me some time.”

“You can have all the time you want. I’ll make you fall in love with me again.” He kissed my hand.

Will Katy believe Jake and fall prey to him again?
