75: " Early "

Kiya's P.O.V

Since he moved I have felt better emotionally. Khai was relaxed as I am now relaxed and not worrying. Days have passed since my emotional breakdown, I have never felt so many feeling in my entire life as I did on those days. Feelings I would never wish on my enemy.

My calculations revealed I was about 7 months give or take. Even though I am happier I am still a mess as my morning sickness does not give me a break.

"My Love how are you feeling today?" Khai kissed me on my cheek.

"I am fine,"I smiled. I tried not to complain these days. I caused him enough trouble, it would be unfair if I had to spoil his finally happy moments because I am not well.

"Are you sure?"He raised an eyebrow.

"Of course."

"Just checking on you. I saw you here by yourself."

"I just needed to think...about everything." Khai took a seat beside me.

"Such as?"

"How happy you are now, My moments of a total breakdown, things like that," I sighed. He wrapped his arm around me in comfort and pulled me closer to him.

"You know everything is going to be fine. We can have a break now from all the worry. I just want to you stay calm and not worry."

"I will try."

"No , you will not try. You will just do it ." He ruffled my hair. A slight smile formed on my lips.

"I have to go now, will you be fine ?"

"Of course I will."

"Make sure. Call me if you need anything."

I nodded and watched him leave. I dropped back in the bed as soon as I was sure that he left. His words ran through my head. I really hoped everything would be fine just as he said. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. I placed my hands on my stomach.

"You will be here. Time is running down. I will see you really soon," I whispered.

"Kiya, Kiya wake up ."

"Mhhhmmm?" I groaned.

"Come and eat something."

"I am not hungry right now."

"I hate it when you eat so late. "

"I will eat something. I always do." I could tell it was Khai. The bed dipped beside me and a felt his head on my chest. 

"Where you here all day ? I did not see you much."

"I could not move around as I wanted to . I decided to stay here. Nathifa got me everything I needed. She helped me basically the entire day."

"I know you despise asking for help ."

"True, but I needed it unfortunately."

"Could it be you are learning to let people take care of you ?"

"This time it could not be helped."

"So close."

"So far away."

He chuckled then yawned. " Busy day?" I asked.

" Yes. Wish you could have helped me. You do such a great job."

" So is it safe to say you miss me working alongside you?"

"Maybe."

"Yes or no?"
