95:"River Baby"

"These days I am not up to speed. I wonder if it because Naeem is getting older or because I am getting older." Kiya sat at the edge of the bed swinging her feet.

"Oh My Lady you are forever nineteen, " Ladonna praised. 

"How I wish," Kiya sighed.  "I thought I would have some more energy since these days Naeem is around his father. "

"I have noticed. "

"Feels like emotional support.  He just sits most of the time and watches him have conversations with Re or peel his grapes and he looks on like it is just the greatest entertainment. "

"He is just appreciating what he has My Queen."

"Because he might be the only one-"

"Oh! " Ladonna's realization interrupted Kiya.  "Mercy My Queen are you still worried about that? "

"I find it hard not to worry about it. "

"I know,  I know. " She leaned backward and dropped herself on the bed in frustration.

"But I can understand that this is a boulder for you and it will take some time even though you are doing so well. "

"Mmmm. I try to think it would not be so bad but I also think I would go mad with worry because of the complications that may happen. "

Ladonna exhaled deeply. She walked slowly over to Kiya and sat on the opposite side of the bed and brushed her hair sprawled out on the sheets.

"I know you trying your best to look out for everyone.  It doesn't rain forever my dear and how these feelings if yours will only lessen as the days goes by."

"I just need a distraction. "

"You should live in the present and step out of your world of wonders and what ifs that may never come to be. "

"You are right..  As always. "

"As always! " Ladonna sang right after.

"I should keep myself busy and do what I enjoy.  "

"They only time appropriate to have your head in the clouds My Lady. "

Kiya chukled before use tilting her head backward to see Ladonna. 

"I wonder what I would do without you?"

"Sometimes I dedicate my entire day to think about that question. "

"Thank you, " Kiya gave a small but warm smile. 

"Now let us get a start on your peace of mind.  It Is a hot dayday,  how about you cool down? "

"Sounds calming I suppose. I should take Naeem with me,  has never been to a river before.

" Really, I never thought such an idea would come from you... Seeing that you are so protective. "

"I know,  I know I am trying to cut down and let him experience things. Look how he is growing,  if you did not know the story you would not even know his journey. "

"Ahh progress in the air! " Ladonna pushed herself off the bed and ran on the tip of her toes over to Kiya.  "Go go go then! " She leaned over to take hold of her hands and pulled her to her feet.  "Start now. "

Kiya straightened  the wrinkles in her clothes before she stepped out of the room. Ladonna followed at distance,  her steps light with excitement.
