Kiya pushed herself off the bed and followed behind Nathifa in the direction of the dining hall. She took her seat inspecting the spread of table.
"Is there something wrong My Lady? These are your usual preferences. "
"Yes I realize but I really have no appetite. I feel hungry but I have no interest in the food here. Pardon me if I come off as rude, I do not mean to be ungrateful. "
"My Queen you may keep your apologies as this is not your doing. "
"I am so sorry. I do apologize. As I said I realized I am not up to speed these days. "
"Is there anything I can get you to eat My Queen?"
"Not at the moment. " Kiya took a sip of the water presented. "I promise I
will have something before the evening. "
Nathifa let out a concerning sigh. " Yes My Queen. "
"By all means help yourself. I would hate to waste anything," Kiya shared out small servings on her plate. " I will just take this to the Pharaoh."
Nathifa bowed once more and watched Kiya leave the dining hall.
"My Queen is never like this, is something wrong? " The servants whispered among themselves.
Nathifa casted her glance in the direction of the whispers which slowly died down.
