Khai turned once more stirring up the still space beside him.

"Khai? " Kiya mumbled drowsily.

"Sorry did I wake you? "

"You keep moving every time I try to fall asleep. I cannot get a chance. "

"Sorry about that I did not mean to, " Khai sighed.

"It is fine, you have my attention now though, " Kiya pushed her self over into Khai's lap. "Something is clearly on your mind. "

Khai exhaled sharply staring out in space. Laying his hand on top oh Kiya's head and his finger twirling in and out of her hair.

" I did not want to bring this up to soon. But I do not want the situation to pass. "

" What is the matter? " Kiya asked.

Khai eyes fell on scratches and shallow briuses on her hands.

" You fell Kiya, right in front of Xerxses. I just need some perspective because to me it looked like -"

"It caught me strongly off guard. I just lost my balance. Very careless of me. I should have stayed with Nathifa really... All because I wanted to stretch my legs. "

"Kiya I know you two avoid each other -"

"Yes we do. To prevent any quarrels. You know we do not necessarily see eye to eye. "

"I would love it if you did. So you could focus you energy else where. "

Khai took a deep breath before put his hand over hers. " You are right... I suppose. "

" But I am. So no need to worry. I say you think about those two over there who might wake up because of you. I know you could never handle them both if they ever started to cry. "

"Ugh you do not have to remind me. "

"I surely need to. They are no Naeem and you cannot forget that. "

"Go back to sleep before you wake my babies? " Kiya cut him off. "Yes."

Khai held his hands up. "I will do as you say. "

Kiya pushed herself back to her side of the bed.
"And from now on Khai, I do not want us to look back because now I feelwe can truly continue forward, no sadness, no second thoughts, no tears. So let us just be happy. Let us try to smile for as long as we can together. "
