69: " Final Sacrifies "

"You need to tell her."

"I cannot bring myself to do that My Lord. I simply cannot."

"Forget about relationships please! I do not care about it! I do not want to keep her here unsure of her motives!" Khai paced the room uneasily.

Ladonna sighed in frustration. She covered her face with her hands and gritted her teeth as feelings of anger and sadness swirled in her heart.

"How am I helping by telling her? "

"I will use that to judge if her words are true and then we will be certain for sure. Leave it to me Ladonna,"Khai assured.

"My Lord ! My Lord! Lady Kiya needs you immediately!" A servant rushed in breathless. "My Lady has been in search of you My Lord and she might be very upset," the troubled servant held his head down. " I have never witnessed such anger before My Lord please I beg of you to hurry. For your sake and My Lady's."

Ladonna looked at Khai with questioning eyes. Rada stopped what she was doing and was the first one out with Khai , Ladonna and Nathifa following behind. Upon approaching the door the hand maidens stepped aside to allow Khai to go go inside. Heavy breathing come of be heard from outside along to low snarls of frustration.

"Do you want me to suffer!" A cup was thrown as Khai opened the door.

"Kiya?"Khai's eyes widened. "What is the-"

"So you want me to die?" Kiya threw anything in arms reach at Khai .

"What are you talking about?" Khai struggles to say as he tried to dodge the flying objects. "Could you stop throwing things and talk to me!"

"No! I want to knock you out," She forced through gritted teeth.

"Kiya stop this right now!"

"No! You do not understand what I am feeling right now!"

"Just let me talk then?"

Kiya folded her arms and concentrated all her anger in staring Khai down as he tried to approached her. The hand maiden stayed at a safe distance behind.

"What did you say to her? That was the only thing that made me comfortable, that made me sleep. I can barely function now!"

"Kiya I did not like how it was making you feel."

"Make me feel? It made me feel better."

"I do not want her near you. I do not know if I can trust her."

"You do not understand!"

"No you do not understand! I do not want her to make you lose our baby like she did Ladonna!" Khai blurted out.

"What?" Kiya's voice faded. "Ladonna? What is this? Is it true?" Ladonna turned away and lowered her head. "Is this what you have been hiding from me?"

"I did not want to jeopardize the work you were doing."

"Stop saying that. I do not want to hear that anymore," Khai's voice laced with frustration.

"Tell me what happened Ladonna."

" I need Zahra in here now."Khai ordered.

Kiya coved her face and sighed deeply. "I cannot manage this anymore. This is too much pressure."

"You needed me Khai?" Zahra made her presence known as she stood at the door. Khai lowered his eyes at her.

"Yes I called you. I need you to be honest because I am not in the best mind set at the moment. I am fairly irritated and I do not want to get angry, I just got back. I am going to ask you a question and you will answer it... truthfully. Understood?"

"Understood," Zahra replied calmly.

"What happened between you and Ladonna?"

"That is lengthy story."

"Not a problem, I have the time so begin."

"Fine then. It was years ago..."

"And that is what happened?" Kiya asked.

" The total truth," Zahra replied.

" She tells the truth," Ladonna agrees.

"Why are you here?" Khai folded his arms.

"My reason for coming here has not changed. I have not violated any terms of my stay, I never did anything but try to help and I never caused any problems."

Khai turned to Kiya for confirmation and she nodded.

"That was years ago and I did a horrible thing and to be honest I never blamed myself for it. It never felt like my fault , I never felt guilt , it never bothered me at all. It is only right for me to face my wrongs, " Zahra turned to Ladonna. "I want to take my responsibility for what I have done."

Ladonna scaled her from head to toe and lowered her eyes. Her face remained emotionless and she remained silent. She folded her arms and shifted her weight to her left.

"Ladonna do you believe her words?" Khai asked.

" I do," she replied softly. "I forgive you but I can never forget what you have done to my life."

"I understand you completely."

"Zahra if your words are as true as you say and you have really given up,you will not hold thing against me when I say that even though you have not violated Kiya's terms... I want what is best for her and so do not think she is in the best of places. Also, that past situation..."

"You do not have to explain anything really. I want to prove I am entirely finished and I just want things to be back how they were previously. I think it is best I go back home."

"I have never seen this side to you before and I have known you my entire life. Maybe you have changed?"

"Maybe I have? " Zahra turned to walk away. " Hopefully one day you can see that I have, I ended it all and gave you up. Will see you someday... I hope. Goodbye, for now Pharaoh Khai."
