"Mother! "
"Stop yelling! "
"Hello both of you! " Naeem stood in the middle of the hall. "You both make my ears bleed. Could you stop."
The two came to halt.
"But big brother! "
"Tone right down Rashidah. " Naeem folded his arms. "What is the matter? "
"I am looking for-"
"He was looking for mother but I told him she was not here and he just thought she would hear him where ever she is if he yelled, " Safiya interjected.
"I never thought that and you know it! " Rahshida turned to Safiyah.
" Oh please, " She stuck her tongue out at him
"Both of you need to calm down. Mother and father are out on business and I am suppose to be controlling you both. So tell me why do you need her? "
"I wanted to ask her if I could start sparring with Zaire like you. "
"What is wrong with your teacher? "
"It is not interesting at all and father is too busy. "
"So you were screaming this early for that? You could have just asked me. "
"See I told you, " Safiya nudged him.
"Follow me. I am heading over there. Safiyah are you coming? "
"Wouldn't teacher feel bad? I will stay with him. I have archery today anyway. "
"Alright. Meet us after. "
"Yes I will. " She turned down the hall
"And no more yelling! "
"You are the only one doing that now brother," Safiyah provoked.
Naeem shook his head and pushed his younger brother ahead of him.
"Come on . I am already late."
Zaire propped himself from the pillar he was leaning on and stepped out of the shade on hearing the coming footsteps.
"We have someone new?" Zaire bowed. " Pleased to have you Young Prince."
"I hope you will not mind him tagging along."
"Never My Prince. I have the energy to spare."
"Great because I am letting him go first ."
"What ?" Rashidah turned to Naeem. "Why not you? I want to see how good you are. You sure must be better than me ."
"Fine,fine ," Naeem proudly placed his hands in the air giving into the request . "If you insist."
"Then I will go right after and you can tell me if I did well."
"Deal!"
~~~~~~~~~~
"You show promise young Prince ! Your endurance is remarkable!" Zaire praised.
"I was just trying to keep up!"
"I see you love a good challenge." Zaire gave a friendly but strong pat in Rashidah's back tipping him off balance.
"Without it there would be no fun in training."
They both shared a laugh before Zaire parted ways.
"Same time tomorrow Prince Naeem?" He called out.
